Remarks

School rules makes everyone feel irritated. You need to come in time, you are not allowed to go outside, you need to follow dress code these things make students feel it is a school. Public transportation system is too worse in gurunanak college. Students face much difficulties to get into buses.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My batch is second last batch for jatuh curriculum. But now gurunanak became autonomous college, so curriculum comes from college it self. My opinion on curriculum which was allotted us is not up to the real-time industry standards. There are lot of changes came in the real-time electronics field but the curriculum was same as 2000 year curriculum. Pretty satisfied with some of the subjects, but overall it's not up to the mark.

Internships Opportunities

There were no internships provided by our college. Instead of internships they provide placement trainings and mou trainings from the other side companies which are interested to recruit students from our college

Placement Experience

3

There are lots of companies visit to gurunanak institutions every year and they recruit huge members. But some what disappointment is, very less opportunities comes from core field. Most of companies are only IT and BPO and marketing. So for whose aim is very big they may not satisfied with placements.

College Events

4

Ohhh every one want this information for sure, GNITC celebrates many events from the starting of academic year to ending. It starts from inauguration day and proceeds with fresher's party, live wire (dj party) , IT EVENTS (conducted by each departments) , farewell day, signature day, graduation day , traditional day, and lot more

Fee Structure And Facilities

Because of college infrastructure and quality of education you never feel gurunank as tiny college. It is huge and best so the fees are some what higher, without scholarship the fee becomes huge, gurunanak is fully commercial college so you need to pay for everything. Poor students must go through scholarship programme otherwise they can't afford.

Fees and Financial Aid

From the college we don't have scholarship option. If we want scholarship we need to apply government sponsored scholarship i.e.,Epass telangana scholarship. According to caste we will get benefits of fee waiver.it is like 50% to 100% of college fee. I really not much aware about the loan facility because I didn't see anyone taking loan in my college.

Campus Life

4.5

There is lot of scope for extracurricular activities, we see lot of technical fests conducting every month,And inter college sports meets. Labs are pretty good with well operating equipments. We have dedicated sports stadium it is huge and having lot of sports material in it. Overall from gurunanak we expect much entertainment and we get.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel fee is around 60 to 70k per annum, so I think I need not tell how it will be. Hostel is well equipped with gym, sports rooms, wifi facility and heat water facility and awesome food. Girls and boys hostels are seperated and girls hostel have well seccured.

Alumni/Alumna

I think alumni network is there in our college, but I never seen their activities or help in college. Most times we see alumni students at supplimentary exams. Sort from that we never find them in our college.

Exam Structure

For every academic year there are two semisters each semester have two internal exams, one external exam. Apart from these exams some special descriptive tests are there in the mid of internals. For us internal exam paper prepared by college it self and corrected in college it self.

Admission

I wrote ecet exam conducted by the govt of telangana, I secured good rank in that exam. And I gone through certificate verification and web counselling, I chosen my first option in web counselling as gurunanak college. After some days I got allotted with gurunanak college. Then I went to main office of gurunanak college with allotment letter and joining letter. There i paid certain amount of admission fee. That's it.

Faculty

3.5

Coming to faculty all are well qualified and well engaged with the subjects. The faculty to student ratio is like 1:20 such a nice figure. Some of our faculty received many achievements from IEEE and JNTUH. Many are published research papers, many have phd's. And they supports very well to students in curricular and extra curricular activities.
