Course Curriculum Overview
My course, the focuses on industry, fit, finance, marketing, HR, etc, skill development, company reputation, alignment with career goals. It is ideal for internship offers exposure to business functions and provided by reputable firms. The faculty members are engaging providing us with the opportunities and resources to develop our skills. It prepares us for the real world scenario.
Internships Opportunities
Maximum startup companies come to offer internships with the minimum stipend of 6k per month assuming for mostly sales roles. There were roles on of project management and sales on fixed weekly targets. Some finance companies offer internships on Bill management Companies like Lacozy Enterprise, Educon Enterprise, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
My current course Of BBA program has tuition fees of Rs.60000 per semester. Including the BBA program the other courses also share the same Rs.60000 per semester. My course program is for 6 semesters consisting total of Rs.360000.
Campus Life
My college is located in a student friendly environment. There are a few cafés near my college to hang out after class hours . Our college also has various fests naming IEM UEN it is a yearly fest consisting of inter and intra college events. Our classes ar equipped with centralised AC, projector and a pc with green boards .
Admission
This college was my first preference for learning this course as it is a leading and prestigious university in my field of study with all the equipment's and resources to help me guide through the career I want to peruse . I had to crack for CET (Common Entrance Test) exam to get admission into IEM.
Faculty
The faculty of our college is quite helpful engaging in activities to help us understand the course through various activities and out of the class field expeditions for getting better understanding of the outside world. My course structure is divided evenly into 6 semesters with 2 mid Term exams consisting 30 marks each paper and 1 end term exam consisting 100. Mid terms consists 20 percent of total marks adding upto to the end sem result With various continuous internal assignments.
Night Life
Nightlife is not so eventful near my college as it is located very far from main Kolkata, to actually have fun we have to travel at least 30, 40 minutes to reach at places , closest hangout spots like malls are 5 minutes and 20 minutes apart Like City Centre and Axis mall.
