Course Curriculum Overview

An ideal school should try to impart all kinds of education to its students, mold the character of the students to such an extent that the students can cope with the present world. They must also be acquainted with the outer world instead of becoming a book worm. The ideal school would be one that was designed to teach various learning and personality styles. The offering of a variety of programs, subjects, and activities. Containing teachers who were passionate about what they were teaching and the well being of their students.

Internships Opportunities

yes, internships count as professional experience and should be added to your resume, especially when you've recently graduated from college and are putting together your entry-level resume after graduation. It doesn't matter if the internship you performed was paid, unpaid, or for college credits.

Placements: There will be a change for sure and we need to prove ourselves as there are many companies like TCS etc are tied up and there's no need to worry about placements. Our seniors got very good placements in their respective fields and that's all about the placements. They would offer posts like a developer, tester. This is very useful and there were 80% of campus placement. The placements are good, and the salary packages are nice. We know about the dream and super dream companies. Dream company means it offers more than 10 lacs per annum, and super dream company means it offers 30 lacs per annum. If you want to get a job in a super dream company, then you have to maintain CGPA 9 every semester. Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice it looks like heaven. We have a swimming pool, outdoor and indoor stadium. We have a basketball court, a gym facility also. We have many food malls on the campus, and the campus is full of trees with good environmental conditions. Faculty: Excellent faculty with impeccable knowledge. All the faculty members are Ph.D. candidates, and we have some assistant faculty members. They can teach easily to understand for each student. So many faculty members worked previously in NIT and IIT'S. They are simply excellent. Other: Daily we have extracurricular activities. If you are interested, you can join any club, and the famous fest is the River.

Alumni/Alumna

We help alumni connect with others in their area to share and support students and alumni to network professionally. Engaging, inspiring, and supporting female graduates. Founded by a group of Exeter alumnae in London, the Alumnae Group or Exe-X helps tackle the specific challenges facing women in their careers. Through our events and activities, we encourage alumnae to support each other in personal and professional development and we help involve alumnae in the life of the University. All-female Exeter graduates are invited to be a part of the Alumnae Group and are warmly welcomed to all of our events, as are female students and university staff

Exam Structure

A semester would mostly consist of the following parts:- CATs, projects, labs, assignments, and FATs. It depends on the course that which of the following is included. CATs(Continuous Assessment Test) and FATs(Final Assessment Test) are written exams. CATs would be of 50 marks each and having a total of 30% weightage(15% each).FAT is just like the final exam which carries 100 marks and has 50% weightage.

Much has been written about underprepared students who enter college. Since more students attend college now than ever before, it is only rational that some are not as prepared as we might expect. Institutions are dealing with this issue, but instructors must do some rethinking about how they teach, in order to meet the needs of all learners in their classrooms. Ungraded pretests and interest inventories can be used to see what your students already know about the content you will be teaching next. Students in all classes need help learning how to learn the material. You may not have imagined that you would be teaching how to learn vocabulary in your college courses, but that may be just what your students need. Above all, students should not be berated if they don’t know things that weren’t taught in high school. Accept students where they are and help them to go forward. They need a college education!

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Their structured training helped me to clearly identify my strengths and work on my weak areas, which made a huge difference during interviews and boosted my overall confidence.
