Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is good here . In my field chemistry I found it relatable to our life's. Nature is chemistry in itself. I found practice hand on experience in chemistry here . During research project in last semester you will feel like future scientist.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees for one year is around 40 K . There is tution fees waiver for sc, st students. And there are two type of scholarship one is mcm which anyone can apply and other is fbm which is only for sc,st student.
Campus Life
This is the best thing of this iit that here all the festivals of all religions of all over country are celebrated with great enjoyment and understanding. Three fest are in one year. There are big classrooms , seminar, tutorial and other room for classes which are always under serviliencs in cctv camera.
Admission
I applied for 4 to 5 IITs but I put this iit as my second choice first choice was iit bombay but I didn't get that due to my rank in JAM. But coming in this IIT, I think I was best decision of my life . It's one of the best research institute in all over world.
Faculty
There is around 70-80 professor in chemistry department. Professors are chill. They always help us. There are two quize ,one mid sem and one end semester exam in one semester. Which are generally hard.
Night Life
There are two gym in public area and ever hostel have its own gym. One central library, one lounge for study and many other halls for study. There are 17 hostel. Two halls only for girls and 14 for boys and one is for both.
