What Students Say

Likes

The campus is pretty huge and also it’s in the city centre
The placements are very good and many MNC visit every year
Overall there are many opportunities you can explore

Dislikes

Timings of classes are long making it difficult
Too much pressure regarding assignments record etc
Less sports opportunities as compared to other

Course Curriculum Overview

As I mentioned it also include business part so covers major topics like finance , management, accounts etc which are essential to learn in today world , it also help for future studies like mba and all

Placement Experience

After 2023 the placement drive have been improved , lot of companies are mass hiring with an average package of 8 LPA , also the highest package was 51 LPA offered by Microsoft , so there are good opportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

I got admission through Comedk which is a national level entrance exam to get into engineering colleges of Karnataka . I secured 20670 rank and with the help of Hyderabad Karnataka quota I got admission into computer science and business systems at Dayananda sagar college of engineering. The fees for comedk students per year is 276000 including skill lab fees for kcet students its around 110000

Campus Life

The life is super chill , you can focus on academic as well as co circular activities like there is CPA which include various clubs like dancing , singing , media , acting etc so you can participate and be a member

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is little bit costly according to me majority of the students leave the hostel after 1st year and moves outside of the campus also the mess food is not so good not so hygienic so better to consider pg or house rent

Admission

I didnt had any specific plans to join this college only according to my entrance exam rank I got into it , talking about other colleges the difference is just in the placements like some of top colleges have 2-3 lpa more package

Faculty

The faculties are well educated and experienced enough to teach , the course duration is for 4 years consisting of 8 sem . The examination is divided into internals ( 3 ) and one sem end both are of respectively 50-50 weightage

Night Life

No such nightlife in the college since it's entry time is restricted till 9.30 pm but around the campus it's open till midnight various shops markets are there for students confidence so no need to go too far

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Experience at College

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. However the training and pre placement started for student from the first year itself like aptitude training coding resume workshops. My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

Review Of Dayananda Sagar College Of Engineering.

I choose this college because of the location and the placements. The college is 45 years old and has a good connection in the industry. The placements are also decent. The location of the college is really beautiful. One will find all the necessities near and around the college itself. I didn't perform well in my jee examinations, but my comedk exam went well, so I came to this college. There are 3 ways to take addmission in this college. 1st is through Comedk exam which is for all the students, inside and outside Karnataka, 2nd is through the KCET exam which is only for the Karnataka students .
