Pros and Cons of being in government college

This college follow GTU Syllabus pattern which is pretty much outdated and not updated since decade. All the subjects are taught with theoretical point of view while few of them also hold much more importance in real life industry. For exams the faculties were able to complete about 60 percent of syllabus and rest was on students

I got an internship opportunity at Indiesemic pvt ltd which is an electronic embedded and vlsi company, its a startup which is growing fast and is one of the most decent place to begin your journey. I am in Embedded firmware domain and stipend allotment is undisclosed from the company yet.

Placement are decent, after semester 6th from semester 7 onwards all the major companies starts coming in to your campus however only few decent companies that actually values intern are rare. So majorly companies give round 3LPA. and the Placement ratio for my batch was 50 percent

As a part of Government colleges across india, the institution fees are very affordable total fees structure including Term fees, Semester Fees and Exam fees for one academic year is around 4600. We also have some scholarships as per Government policy, but those are just for Reserved category

The great aspect of this college was ita campus life. There are 14 clubs which are ran by students and supported by faculty coordinator are currently active in this college. Their are various troups like Nss and NCC a part of this college. Also the placement cell is ran by student

This college is in my Hometown. After 12th science you have to give a GUJCET exams and on basis of your score you will get any college you are eligible to apply in. It follows 3 rounds of college shuffling and you have to choose courses and college on ACPC website

Their are around 15 faculties in Electronic and communication department, Majorly are highly educated and are great use for each and every students, while few of them are just for the sake of money. Courses are around 7 subjects per sem for total 7 semesters and there are 2 types of examination mid term and final exams per semester

Nope there wasn't any round for this, the admission process was massy and simple. There weren't any GD, INTERVIEWS or any kind of test. Infact there were just ranking on which you would get the experience.

This is very small city with not much of night life, their are few good food places to eat and few malls to wander and buy things. Plus their are few good spots like bortalav, victoria park to visit during day time. Few good cafes like liquitea, wedesi and few more are good
