Faculty Expertise and teaching method was too good, also stuff behavior was very good
Many cultural program held on college ground so student are very engage to the college for this activity
college infrastructure was very impressive. There are so many bildings in this college area for diffrent classes and lab.

Dislikes

There are a railway station called kalyani shilpanchal station, so there are some few train arrived in this station so train sound shoud be distrub some times

Course Curriculum Overview

I like Electrical thing thats why i choose this course. The area was too good. There was many local conectivity. A railway station was near to the college. There was many seceurity guard give seceurity to the student & facalty and the whole college. The college has a small canteen. food was very good. A small play ground.

Placement Experience

My plan is joining a job. this college give me a better placement but i dont want to go outside of west bengal thats why i refuse the job and searching job in west bengal. I also get a offer from a bangalore base company. 150000 yearly

Campus Life

Name of annual festival is Ideal fest. They take 500 per student for the fest. In this fest they also provide food. There have a nice library for the student. All book are available in this library. So u dont have to purchase books from outside of college.

Admission

Admission process is so simple. They also recived cheque and cash both. but i thing the fees is affortable for all middleclass familes. Comparing from others college this college has extra benifit of public tranport and total fees of college.

Faculty

The facalty student ratio of the college is 18:1 Behavior of the facalties are very polite. One of them name was (S.M. sir Electrical tearcher) There are 4 to 5 exam held in a year. both are class basis.

Night Life

There are a small gym near the college and a club for student. Student has spend time in the many more activity like playing cricket and football in the evening time after the college classes. Some time facalties are join the game.

Ideal institute of Engineering is a good college from my home town, and the college give huge placement to the student. also the college have a good lavoratori and the college have good facalties, they are well educated.

Placement Experience:

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.

Overall the placement percentage of the college is good for both the core and non-core courses almost near 90%. All the students in there 3rd year i.e. in their 5th or 6th semester are elegible for campus placements. From 8th semester the students get eligible for campus placements . Some good companies like TCS Capgemini Infosys visited campus . Amazon also visited our campus the highest package is about 22 lakhs and average packages 5.5 lakh . about 80% student of CSE , IT and ECE branches get placed.

The main reason for which I and most of my other classmates took admission here is affordability as one can complete his degree in less than 3.5 lakhs which is quite low compared to other colleges. I had considered taking admission in Swami Vivekananda University because of its distance from my house, although overall course fee is same in both the colleges but admission fee is quite High in SVU for which I choosed IIE over SVU. I also had an valid WBJEE rank and if chossed to sit for counselling would have got many better college with TFW scheme according to this year's cut-offs but had already taken admission and paid admission fee which was not refundable....Read More

Very good college with best teacher and a placement cell is also very good go for it for BTech and there is also Nursing from them just go for it faculty r very good Hod is behaviour is outstanding But if you tell folks you're a college student, folks are so impressed. You can be a student in anything and not have to know anything. Just say toxicology or marine biokinesis, and the person you're talking to will change the subject to himself.
