Likes

The college has great faculty which are highly qualified and experienced.
The college conductes great extra curricular activities such as quizs, workshops,etc.
The college has great opportunities in term of internship and placement.

Dislikes

The college campus doesn't have any ground except built-in badminton court and all indoor courts
The college lecture time is too long which is not needed.
Though the college has all streams available it only has a single canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course immense and extraordinary opportunities made me choose the course. The curriculum helps you build your base which helps in learning new things easily and apply them in real world applications. One thing the course can improve is to focus more on practical experience rather than theoretical knowledge.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 113000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are various companies that offer internship such as accenture, etc which offers the role of web development, software development, support and many more. Various websites development projects, application development are to be done.

Placement Experience

The seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies such as tcs,godrej, mindspace,etc made offers. The highest package provided was around 35lpa and average is somewhat around 300000 lpa. Due to recession in this period the number of placement has decreased a bit.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee for students of open category is 113000 per year which increases. Caution money to be paid is 10000. The fee for the students of obc,ebc,ews is 68000 included caution money. The fee for sc and st is somewhat around 10000. Also students can avail tfws scholarship with 100% tuition fees discount.

Campus Life

The ZEST the annual fest here which is conducted in the month of February. The college has a huge library with all books and journals available. Every classroom has spacious benches, projectors for teaching, etc. The college holds the sports events probably in month of February. The students here has great community and participates in different social events.

Admission

I actually applied for colleges such as vit, vjti ,terna,etc.For some colleges due to immense competition in the field I couldn't make there. As the college has great faculty, opportunity, activities were some factors I choose this college. MHT-CET exam is accepted with cutoff of 90-94 percentile. Also direct second year admission is also available for diploma students.

Faculty

The faculty here is highly qualified and experienced which are also a lot supportive to the students and help in every aspect. They conduct 2 unit test and a semister exam every semister. The exams are a bit difficult. The course curriculum is still relevant.

Night Life

There are lots of hangout places around the college. Most the the students prefer to play sports after the classes as there are lots of grounds and play area around the college region. The locality around the college is actually same as there are lots of industries and multinational companies around the college region.

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. In datta meghe you can get addmission through jee, mht cet and management Cet cut off for computer branch is near to 92.5 percentile for general for caste it is low Most of the students get addmission through MHT cet in my college. I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. Cutoff depends on the branch but it ranges from 50-95 percentile in cet exams. overall the admission process is not too easy neither too hard....Read More

i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
