Btech in HPU shimla - A mystery

4 year curriculum is divided into 8 semesters. And after every 5-6 months exams occur. And due to more number of subjects it prepares you for real world problems such as assignments , exams , seminars etc

Student can opt for internship with stipend through campus interviews and also opt for internship without stipend through various firms such as sjvn , nhai, pwd etc . Some students also went for iits for their intership

Students becomes eligible for placement in final year and for cse/it there are numerous companies such as infosys, tech Mahindra etc and for civil there are reliance, various construction firms are coming for campus interviews, some students also opt for higher studies

Fees structure of odd semester is about Rs 48700 and for even semester it's about Rs 59700. And it also exempts the fee for some cases such as single girl child or ward of hpu employee etc, And we can also avail scholarship through nsp

Yearly cultural and techno fest is happening with name of 'utkarsh' , in which various cultural activities such as nati , bhangra , dj nights etc are included . For technical fest there are various competition in games such as csgo , valorant , bgmi , freefire, fifa , chess etc

I got seat in bachelor of architecture in nit Hamirpur and also in hptu colleges but I chose hpu because of its reputation and also because I want to do civil engineering more than architecture. Eligibility criteria is individual should be 12th pass with pcm and should got decent marks in either jee main or entrance exam

Faculty of institute is very good in terms of student - faculty relationship and also in terms of teaching, they are good. And there's entrance exam named as HPU UIT entrance exam. Difficulty level of entrance exam is moderate

There's proper entrance exam occurs which is divided into 3 parts which are physics, chemistry, mathematics and then after result counselling occurs . Based on marks of candidates various streams are given to students according to their choices

There's 24/7 library in campus which is highly recommended for candidates which are self studying for cracking various exams . Also as we know shimla is beautiful city so it gives various opportunities for students
