Likes

The teachers are highly qualified and Frank with students
Teaching methods are very nice and slow paced
Notes are provided and pyq's by teachers in WhatsApp group

Dislikes

There are some students who are not there to study but to disturb the class and teachers
The study environment is not good for every class

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course relevancy to 4/5 .the course is nice as it prepares students to know more about commerce fields where they can do jobs.real world knowledge is good enough to land a job.there are some subjects where they need to provide more practical knowledge like in MPA.THE frequency of exams is 4-5 months for every semester.The level of paper is easy to moderate based on preparation level of individual.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for 1st year is 9370 INR without study material hard copy and with hard copy of study material they charge 400-600 rupees.The registration fees was free for every section of society.there are no development fees, lab fees and the other.No scholarship is provided

Campus Life

There are no annual or technical festival held as it is distance learning programme.there are some books that are provided online free on there website.No extra curricular activities offered on campus.There are groups created by teachers and students for study and to make friends.Student portal is also good .

Admission

I applied for Delhi University and indraprastha University.I got admission in IP University's college names Fairfield institute of management and technology but I choose DU SOL over IP college as it was far from my home and no metro line near college.I did not get admission in Delhi University because of low score , because of low preparation for some exams .The admission process of du sol is easy one had to only register which is free of cost and you need to qualify 12the by atleast 45%.the admission process is very simple.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is quite good.Teachers are helpful toward students.Business law faculty is very nice as the teacher explains everything in easy manner . Management principles and accounting faculty teachers are not very good according to me.there are 7 subjects and out of which 6 are there for written exams.Very few are there who do not paas the exams.the coure curriculum is very relevant.

Night Life

NO favorite hangout spots, late-night activities available as there are offline classes only one day in a week which is Sunday.No activities are there to do as it is distance learning program.college is opened for student only on Sunday's.

A quick view on Dyal Singh College Morning, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for CA also that's why I opted for Bcom, rest no other factors. But the curriculum of the college was best. They covered our whole syllabus on time. Everything was just perfect. There's semester system at my time. Every year we have 2 semester exams and you can clear the exam if you have studied everything your teacher taught. Examination level was moderate only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum itself is offered under delhi University is the biggest pro of this college I liked the aspect that it tries to capture the essence of holistic development by introducing skill enhancement courses, value addition courses and ability enhancement courses It also facilitates dynamic learning experience by offering the courses from different departments such as general electives I still believe that there is a space for improvement in the applicability of this course in the real world as the world is growing at a fast paced and we need to prepare ourselves with everything we can Intership opportunities, live projects of certain subjects , increased field trips and introduction of ai courses Frequency is good ,1 per semester which helps students to take on different ventures also and the difficulty level is mixed depending upon the subject but ranges from moderately easy to difficult

I would say genuine

Course Curriculum Overview:

There's no such specific aspect to be very honest, I was clear since my 12th standard only that I'll be doing BCom hons in my undergraduation. The core subjects provides you valuable knowledge for sure but there's nothing to learn from AEC, SEC and VAC subjects (they are useless). I think teachers should start focusing more and like in my 3rd semester, there are 2 teachers for each of my core subject, this should be eliminated because it creates confusion among students. Exams usually ends in 1 month and mostly my exams were in the morning shift which is 9:30-12:30 but it gets difficult during winters to reach to college on time and sometimes you have to wait too for 20-30 minutes outside for the gate to open.

I chose the bcom course because of its well structured curriculum that covers fundamental aspects of commerce, including accounting, finance, taxation and business law. Exams are conducted in every 3 months of semester. Exams paper are moderate to hard not so easy.

Take admission if you wanna graduate just to get a degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think there's too much unnecessary subjects given in the name of VAC and SEC and AEC becuae the options are completely irrelevant to the course. I'm a bcom student why will I study political science or hindi. If it's important to have these many subjects then give us subjects which are relevant to our course. There's mandatory EVS subject too and I think I have learned all that thing already in school so there's no need to study that.

A game of the future in which there is a desire to achieve something

I chose School of Upper Learning because this college has classes only once a week and also has online classes.In the meantime, you can try some of our extra IT tools like Tally Busy which will help you in accounting.Moves further ahead in line I got a lot of support from my seniors and at home, which gave me the opportunity to know more about it in depth, hence I selected this college and curriculum.Moreover, you can also do a job along with your studies and support your family completely.Like you can apply to a CA These apps can go into any accounting line.And talking about college admission process, you should have around 50% marks in 12th class.There are no other criteria in this nor any limit.You just have to go to give the exam and there are no compulsory classes.In this, you are not taken any exam etc., your admission is done on the basis of 12th....Read More

I applied for cuet to enter a regular college but unfortunately I didn't score well and didn't get any regular college which provide BMS as their course but in sol you do not have to apply to cuet you are selected on the basis of your 12th marks and I scored good in 12th so I got enrolled in dusol.
