Course Curriculum Overview

3

I got a feedback from my senior that this college provides a good teaching and placement opportunities and this thing influenced me to join this course . But we I joined college in my first semester teaching was good faculties used to cover the complete syllabus. Like 5 modules But later when I entered branch the teaching changed few teachers were teaching good they were covering the syllabus completely Later when I moved to 4 th sem teachers were changed and their teaching was not good just for time pass they used to teach and they were not covering full modules Exam level was easy we have to study previous years papers

Internships Opportunities

3

No internship we have to do from college side itself it was compulsory so we have to pay 3000 for that internship so they were many domain to chosee such as java full stack, software testing, android development, UI UX , so I choose UI UX design and the company was bharat minds the duration given by the college is 1 month but that teacher took only for 10 days he just gave a rough idea about designing we just learned basic we used a platform to design is figma and also I did a project in UI UX design is e commerce website for online shopping I learnt from online because my teacher didn't teach this just the basic of prototype he taught

Placement Experience

1

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement Companies visited- DXC , Go- digit, ITC,UST global, iopex. Highest package: 9 lpa Average package: 3 lpa Percentage of students getting placed: hardly 10 After degree : upskill myself and then apply for offcampus

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees - 155000 Tuition fees - 14378 Development fees/Library fees/ Sports fees/lab Exp - 11,252 For SC /ST fee - 100000 For SNQ Cota - 50000 I was not getting any scholarship because my father annual income was more Only the scholarship students were getting is SSP scholarship were government was providing it according to category and annual income of parents

Campus Life

2

They conducted mahadasara fest in my 4th sem yearly once they will conduct. Apart from that they used to conduct hackathon During my engineering I attended 2 hacakathons Where it helped me to built connection among different people it was a inter college competition Ya book accessibility was good we can borrow the book and keep as long we want but we have to renewal it every month . Ya many books regarding to our syllabus was also available and even the books which is helpful for the placements also available Ya the used to provide sports also it was like if the candidate is interested they can participate they usede provide practise and sent to the competition Many of my friends participated in inter college competition. IEEE was the only club for students

Admission

I applied for 1.MIT 2.GSSS I got confirm addmission for MIT Why I choose this college was while comapring to GSSS it was girls college so I was not comfortable about that if I join that college during studying we have to make groups to make project so It will be difficult to understand the girls So I choose this college because it is co college where girls and boys both will be there and we can communicate with them . And we will get a experience to work with them in group. Not I didn't get rejection due to cutoff I didn't get government seat there so I choose this college Admission process was usual like form filling and paying the fees yeah for this we have to write CET and get a good ranking

Faculty

3

Faculties to student relationship was good we approach them during break hours and when we have free time they will answer our doubts very few teachers were approachable because these teachers we can understand My favourite teacher are - kavya priya mam she taught me java in my 3 rd sem she used break the program and understand each line and let us to write different program her teaching was good even know I remember that concepts Hemanth sir - he took python he is such a good teacher he used to give real life examples and teach us the programs and simultaneously we used to make running notes which helped me a lot during exams and internals Engineering is 4 year cours Each year we have 2 sem so 2 exam and 2 internals per sem So totally 8 sem exam , 48 internals Exam will be easy but should read in smart way reading whole syllabus won't matter u have to study previous years paper and one page is there in instagram that is TIE there they will upload some questions doing some survey even that will be helpful easily u can score 8 cgpa if u study Passing ratio was more in our branch compare to failing ratio Out of 100 80 percent pass 20 percent fail

Night Life

2

Yes even gym facility is there but it is only for hostel people Ya college canteen and food court is the most remembering day during my college time . We used to sit and chit chat with our friends and eat rolls . And also do the discussion of our project during that time Library facilities is good I have mentioned it before also this helped me during internals and exams. I don't know about hostel because I was not living there But college timmings is from 9-4 Hangout places inside the college is just cafeteria No it is not safe to roam during night times because this college is located far from city and it is completely filled with greenary so it will be calm during night time and no people will be there so It is not safe

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
