Course Curriculum Overview

First of all some lectures are taking on smartboard i think all the lectures are taken on smartboard is a smart moves. and more focus on the coding field and motivate the student to work on that area.

From the starting of the 4th year the companies are reach out students to get in our company.There are more than 100+ companies visit to our campus.and many of the student in my batch got placed in many companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hello i am graduated from Gurukul Kangri University Haridwar.I paid yearly fees in my college in 1st year is 83000 ,in second year i paid fees 82000 and so on in 3rd year and 4th year also. But in present the college fees in increased presently.And the scholarship is given by our state basis and your criteria to avail it or not.

Campus Life

There are not so much but annual and technical festivals happens in.There are many books you can find in our college library.I can not experience campus life because two years are we in covid.No social groups ,clubs run here.

Admission

So i get from the college by clearing the jee mains and get this college.I tried many other colleges but i can not get so last option for me is this college so get admission in that college of haridwar.

Faculty

The faculty to student ration is not as good.Some Faculties are very supportive and easily approchable but some are not.In computer science and technology most of the faculties i liked.There are 2 sessionals and 1 semester exam. Sessionsion is of 30 marks and semester exam is 70 marks.

Night Life

No gym, No cafeteria good in that college .College is on the NH so around the college you can not hang out with friends.and in present hostel is also constructed in college campus.IN 10 km range you can go to the ganga river to chill and peace ming

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . UPES University brings in a different energy!!

Placement Experience:

Infy, Techno India, Brumha and many as techies are required all over. From a watchmaker to salt maker without a techie a business can't grow big. So, even though there are 500+ CSE students still 75 percent or so get placed easily from our campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally good for circuital branches but as for lower branches either you have to go in core which is difficult(off campus it is easy , since you have a IIT tag) but non core placements are decents . From 7th semster one become capable for sitting in interviews. Highest package is around 2Cr as for average it ranges between 22-30 lpa Almost 100% students are placed except for those who with thier own startup or try for offcampus placements. My plans are for getting a MBA degree from IIM Ahmedabad or Banglore.

Better for higher studies

There are some of the private college which i applied but i selected this one because this is govt and also there are many more opportunities providev here. You can get admission through jossa nad csab and cutoff is around 70k for jossa and 300k for csab. Also there is a form for this college you can check that out....Read More

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University. Firstly we need 12th pass with 75% marks then crack the jee mains examination and sit in the josaa counseling then go into the csab counseling after the counseling crl rank under the 1lakh .
