Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is too bad there as they are teaching the technology which is more than decade old . So it does not hold any relevance in the current market scenario. But it's not the mistake of college as this college is affiliated to abdul kalam technical university lucknow so university people decide the course curriculum of the colleges under them ...

Internships Opportunities

4

Microsoft offer internship to one student of Data science branch with stipend of 105000. There is also JP morgan who give internship opportunity to the girls in the college with the stipend of about 80000?.

Placement Experience

4

From 5th semester onwards you are eligible to sit in companies interview for internship or ppo(pre placement offer)purposes. This college is also famous for mass recruitment as Accenture Capgemini is the mass recruiter from this college. last year accenture hire about 260 students from here and Capgemini too hired about 307 students. About 90% of the students get placed in placements drives and about 5-6% students choose to do further studies Only 4-5% students didn't get placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college per year fees is 161300 in which 105000 is university fees and remaining is fees of other stuffs. In this college as it comes under up state so up scholarship is eligible for students . Minimum attendance for scholarship is 75% and maximum annual family income is upto 200000 per annum ..

Campus Life

4

Campus life is average here as campus is too small so you will find your faculty nearby so you can't do that kind of chill. But canteen is good here and you will find all the necessary stuff there. Recently college hosted a fresher party in which they invited Shreya Ghosal , Mohan sister's and kumar vishwas too . So such event was too good.

Admission

As I already explained that I belong to uttar pradesh and this college is in my state so I get benefitted by scholarship scheme of Uttar pradesh government. And in Delhi NCR region this is the best private college with such high package Students here are serious towards there studies as there are not much fest and all to celebrate so people who choose this college are actually serious towards their studies.so there is bit competition in college too which make college life interesting here.

Faculty

3

There is about 200-300 faculty in the college and the total BTech students is arround 5000 including first to fourth year student so nearly 1:25 is the faculty to student ratio in the college . And the ratio is not bad as in a class there is approx 60-65 student so teacher can easily give time to students...

Night Life

4

As it is in NCR region so it is very city like feeling. There is market all around the college. There is too many hostel and gym near to the college, so if you didn't find College hostel good then you can opt other hostels too nearby . Near hangout places is WOW waterpark, all delhi to visit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
