Life at Bennett University

The curriculum is decent some of the subjects like life skill and others are not very related to our course but all that is in first year , from the second year the subjects are relevant , The overall curriculum is good. the topcis covered in these subjects are really related to the curriculum, The main focus should be in improving their faculty and the ability of teachers to make the students ready for the real world challenges, The examination timings are sometimes off and not properly provided by the examination difficulty is moderate.

Scaler and other companies do provide interships here so its pretty decent in internships like the placements and the faculty do help in getting there , you can also work on projects with faculties to improve you chance of being selected for internship.

The college does provide placements its just that majority of the students are not ready for the placements they lack the skills to get placed, companies like scaler does come here and students who are skilled enough do get placed, it just that the crowd here is large so only small amount of deserving ones gets placed, realistically of the total only 10 percentage of the students are getting placements from the college. I mostly plan for off campus placement but if your are skilled enough you would definelty get placed here.

The Year Wise fees in bennett University for btech course CSE is around 380000 per year this is the tuition fees, along with it there is hostel fees that is 850000 per semester , there is also a 45000 registration fees and the hostel fees might increase , it did for me in the second year of my btech degree. There is also scholarship for students who have scored good in their boards or jee mains , the maximum scholarship is 50 percentage of the tuition fees , and for the student to maintain it they need to get 8+ cgpa every year or else they lose their scholarship and cannot get it back again.

The club culture here is super good , and the social life here is absolutely amazing , There are hackathons organised by the college like haccino, and annual fest like Uphoria , the study material provided in the library is very up to date you can whole rows of books on ai ml and other trendy domains, The technology is amazing here, Sports opportunities are provided to there is a sports fest here named sportikon overall events wise the college is excellent , there are a lot of clubs like for dancing, gaming clubs , and also clubs for study like blockchain club , coding clubs like code chef so students get to know their interest and can choose their future career domains.

The hostel facility is decent like the room and the hostels are nice with room cleaning avaible everytime and they provide contact of maintenance and other people and they do respond quickly so hostels are nice, mess is decent for fees they take like the breakfast is the only meal everyone agrees to be enjoy eating the other meals sometime be good but its mostly average. The registration process is simple and handled by the wardens so their hostel facility is affordable and is very nice for its price.

The admission here is simple and the reponse of the admission committie and the IT department here is excellent, This college was not on my list to begin with but i ended up choosing this college because of the facilities provided here and also if your are truly wiling to do good then this college will help you , There is not much of a eligibility criteria you must atleast get 60 percentage in board to make it here, For the other college there werent much facilities and i just didnt worked much hard to find colleges but i dont regret my decision alot. Overall uptill now it has been decent here.

Some of the faulty is actually very impressive but majority of them are not very serious about teaching real life skills, like it depends on your luck if you get a good group of teachers, They usually take 2 exams , mid sem and end sem but for some subjects its just end sem. The teachers i personally liked are Mandeep mittal sir , he is excellent in teaching and also shares his experience with students to help them know more. The examination level is moderate.

The night life inside is crazy there is no restriction or curfews at night, For outside you would need a dayout pass to go out but you should be back to college before 10 pm else the college has no resitrictions for night , inside campus its totally safe and our college is famous for its night life there are food outlets which stay open till 4 am in the morning like snapeats etc.For hangout students can sit in the paid mess which stays open till 2 am and other hangout spots are lounge and hostel common rooms which provide various games like 8 ball pool and other activites , outiside its not very safe at night but its totalty safe inside. there are also jamming sessions at night and lrc which stays open 24 hours if you wish to study at mid night you can go there and study in silence.
