Avadh University review

In our college we have branches like computer science, Information technology, civil, electronic, electrical and mechanical. Mostly student seek admission in CS, IT. Admission is done by 3 modes. First on the basis of jee main exam and up counseling, then by college level counselling, lastly by direct admission. As the IT sector is booming that's why I choose IT.

The registration fees is 1000. Then the first year annual fees is around 77000. From the second year to fourth year the fees is 71000. This includes tution fee of 63000 , exam fee 2000 , lab fee 5000 etc. The UP government provides the scholarship according to the category to low family income students. General category students get 57000 amount of money every year. Apart from this there is no other type of financial aid is available here.

There are no annual and technical fest here. We have convocation day and we actively participate in Deepotsav in ayodhya. Our library has decent amount of books. And our course books also. But few subject books are missing and number of books of few subject is also less. Student can play sports in main campus. We have NCC also.

I applied for different college in Uttar Pradesh and got admission in many of them but as this college is near to me and got IT branch that's why choosed this. I got rejected from some good college in there computer science branch so that's why I didn't go there.

The faculty is experienced here and helping. HOD understand student problems and help them. Faculty try to complete syllabus before exams. Here we have 2 sessional exams of 30 marks then we have our semester exam of 100 marks. The level of exam is easy to medium. One can easily pass by studying one day before exam. The course curriculum is not that relevant.

The girls are not allowed to go out of hostel after 6 pm. They have ground inside the hostel for playing and walking. For hangout there are many cafe around the campus having affordable food and it is very safe around the campus.
