Our university our pride

I choose this university because of selction based on percentage of degree and i like environment mostly. My seniors adviced to take this university and department is so unique in infrastructure and with its moral and values no unnecessary waste of money for programmes other than fresher and farewell. I am proud to be one among the department. Our department has updated to nowadays modern world and prepare us according to the needs . Our department is fully ready to teach any aspect. They give us enough time to study and attend exams . They teach us in perspective of competitive exams like net and Kset .

I am cbcs and Other university HK reservation general student i paid 14000 but the updated nep student are paying as fallows:- General merit seat :- 16307 SC ST merit seat ;- 5863 Managment seat :- 45760 Other university management seat :- 82225 Scholarship i got is from Karnataka SSP scholarship of amount 32000 per year 15000 from ssp and i didnt got bcm hostel as i applied for it in shp then i got 17000 for food and accomodation.

There is good environment green environment There are two functions in our department like freshers and farewell. And other programs like annual convocation , annual day , shayadri sadagara, cultural programs , chem club activities include cultural, sports and industrial visits. Student run social grouo - Chem club it includes president student and members includes both junior and seniors.

I had applied for same chemistry department in university of mysore and karnataka university dharwad and the difference is we have to write entrance exam in both the university for selection but in Kuvempu university there is no need of entrance examination. I didn't selected there because of delay of result in my previous degree .

There are around 20 staff including non teaching and phd scholars in our department. 3 Assistant professor Around 5 guest lectures 10 Phd scholars Remaing non teaching staff HOD - yadv d bodke sir our department has PME director of university and syndicate member of vskub university: - arthoba sir And t.venkatsh sir. They are best at their profession and student supportive. There are 2 years 4 sems 4 theory subjects and 3 practical subjects 1 open elective from 2 to 3 sem. 150 marks 100 theory 50 practical from each subjects organic physical inorganic theory and practical along with analytical and 50 for open elective. Passing percentage is 100% No one is failed in our class.

There is university gym and indoor stadium timing 10:00 pm for boys 7 for girls. Hostel facilities are good - 10:00pm for boys and 7 pm for girls. There is pond and lightings are good , Kuvempu statue, shankarlingeshwara temple , brp bhadra wildlife sanctuary, green library , parks .
