Course Curriculum Overview
I chose my branch cause I love physics. Although I don't really know what I will be doing in life for a livelihood, I am pretty sure that my college will definitely help me in doing so. Frequency of exams is very often and there are exams any time.
Internships Opportunities
Very good internship opportunities are provided from the college itself. A different body for research intern , a different for corporate intern and even support for start-ups. Also, we have enactus which is part of the global enactus body.
Placement Experience
Placement Rate is really good, almost all the students who are interested for taking up jobs end up getting placed. I, as of now plan to take up placments very seriously. Highest offer is in crores. The most I have heard once was of 4 crore from Jane Street.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid 122400 and 114000 as tution fees in the first and second semester respectively. There are many people from different categories who pay only the hostel fees and not the figues I have mentioned.
Campus Life
We have our cultural fest in the odd semeter and sports and technical fest in the even semester. Overall all the cultural and technical clubs are very active and for most of the time we are on campus, it is fillled with different events, competitions and workshops.
Hostel Facilities
All the B.Tech students are allotted with hostels. The quality is average but livable. The hostels for M.tech, PhD are really good with better facilities. Mess food is really good, you will not miss the home cooked food here.
Admission
I chose this college considering all the pros and cons, my other option was just IIT Bombay, but I was not getting a branch in which I'm interested there so I chose Delhi. Other than that, I really do not regret taking my college.
Faculty
Facluty student ratio will be approximately 200:1 and most of them are super friendly and always there to help may it be in academics or any other personal problem. The exams are obviously difficult as they are designed for the most competitive students of the country.
Interview Experience
There was no Group Discussion of any sort before the admission and it was purely based on the scores and ranks obtained through JEE Advanced. The admission process was through JoSAA Counselling. Classes started in July.
Night Life
We have gym in almost every hostel, Library is open till 3am on non-exam days and Night Messes in every hostel, when the whole city sleeps, we wander around the campus and enjoy our student life. Crazy Experience.
