Fee of the courses is affordable for every student.
Campus and hostel Security is really really good
Professor are very helpful and always help to solve students any problem.

Dislikes

I don't really like the Academic curriculum of the institute.
Hostel mess is not good as we really expected.
For other activities there are not time because academic always going on with full potential .

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum of academics is the only thing that I don't really like because academic always hectic and there is not other time for any other activities due to academics . Teaching of the professior is good.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many Internship operrtunitis for students. But for some courses like master in maths I will say it's ok ok . For Btech students and master in stats there are more opportunities to get internship.

Placement Experience

Placements are good in IIT kanpur for btech students but for masters course not really good as btech students. From 2nd year of Master students are eligible to get ready for placement. Avg package of iit kanpur is 27 LPA and highest approx 2 crore.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 18000/- per semester as semester fee and also paid mess and other charges like electricity bill and water bill. I am belong to reseved category so I don't need to pay tution fee. And I pay 5000 as admission fee . I get one scholarship from institute that is FBM free mess scholarship.

Campus Life

Festival are good in IIT kanpur There are many festival like techkriti and Antrangni. Library always updated with new books and journals. And many sports programs are organised by college.And many other opportunities for extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room are avrange and most of the formula two students. Hostel mess is not really good as we can expect but it's ok.Menu are good and always ditetetion keep measuring it. Registration process is very easy for hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 13000 per year

Admission

I apply for IISER Mohali and get admission but as I got admission in IIT kanpur I rejected the offer of IISER Mohali for doing research In maths and I join iit kanpur. Admission procedure is easy we have to clear iit jam exam and then go for counseling.

Faculty

Professor are good and always ready to help students. And faculty I like personally is T Muthu kumar he is really good And his lectures are energetic always And always puss student to achieve their goals.

Night Life

Night life of our college I really like this always fascinating for me , labs are open till midnight and Cantnine also open for whole night. Campus always bright in night . Sports Rooms are always available in nights and cafeteria open in night. For hangout people may consider backyard of academics.And whole Campus is safe in night so there is no concern about safety.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was quite comprehensive and relevant. They covered all the fields of life sciences in depth- molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology (RDT), microbiology, biostatistics, instrumentation, and immunology, among others. The combination of both foundational and applied topics was the whole reason I chose the course at SVSU. In terms of preparationfor the real world applications, the curriculum does a great job in building clarity and founding strong concepts. For students aiming to prepare for GATE, NET, and higher research projects to delve into, the syllabus provides a strong foundation. Regarding improvements, the lab work could be more one-on-one rather than a bulk implementation, and more hands-on experience needs to be added to the course in comparison to the theoretical knowledge. Speaking of the examination pattern, it works in semesters, with the first one occurring in December, then around April, and the last one around June-July. Other than that, there are internal tests held bimonthly and project submissions before the examination session.

Yes tha curriculum are well structured and good for every exams because I have to go to civil field that's why I chose due to there interdisciplinary studies and connection to every exams and filed The curriculum is good and prepare for rural society and also provide further research opportunities for future in the rural technology and society The curriculum needs to be for technical and entrepreneurship based There is 3 hour exam for semester and the level of questions paper in exam is moderate to hard .

IITK From Sparsh's Perspective

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. The cut-off for IITK varies-from branch to branch. For example the CSE of IITk open from Jee advanced general rank of 115 to 250....Read More

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
