Likes

Faculty are somewhat better. They are very friendly with the students.
Practical lab and extra-curriculum is very good .
Hostal facilities are awesome and cleaning is done regularly

Dislikes

Most campus area is vacant and full of grass and trees.
Some language problem faced by non telugu student.

Course Curriculum Overview

I found. Electrical engineering to be very difficult and complicated initially but after few weeks of regular class I understood each topic easily. Our first semester curriculum was theoretical with few practical applications.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 62500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Actually we get many internship message from mail . It is from wipro,iit kharagpur based internship. Also there is hackathon at inter nit level and many other opportunities are also available. Our faculty also provide with internship by making cold mail to their known professor in other IITS

Placement Experience

From sixth semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited our college such as pepsico,wipro,L&T, etc. Highest package in CSE department is 44 lpa. In my knowledge 83.65% students get placed last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees=62500/sem Hostal fees = 30000/sem For SC/ST tution fees is 0 For MEB(Most economical backward "family income less than 1 lakh per annum") tution fees is zero For OEB(OTHER ECONOMICAL BACKWARD) tution fees is 1/3 of original fees. NSP PROGRAM IS ALSO HERE.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in my college like photography,art dance , music, robotic etc. that offers many opportunities to students to make their free time become valuable. Their is separate building named STUDENTS AMENITIES CENTRE that provide with all the facilities that required

Hostel Facilities

There is 4 person occupancy in first year then for 2nd and 3rd year to person occupancy. There is 3 fans in a room. Also Room is provided with bed and one almirah. Regular cleaning is done . Mess food is okay.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

I got this college through JOSAA counselling in 5th round . My college infrastructure is very very well compared to Northeast NITS but I think placement is not as good as other NITS of south India. Through JEE MAINS exam I got this college

Faculty

Most of faculty are adhoc .Only few are permanent. But their are very friendly with students. In my class total strength is 90 but section is divided for 45 and 45 . Sandeep sir is very good faculty in electrical engineering

Night Life

Our college backgate close by 9:00 pm at night after which nobody is allowed to enter or go outside by backgate. There are many guards who wanders inside campus at night to avoid any type of ragging. There are many places to hang out like Central library, Gym,and sports complex.

Placement Experience:

From 7 th semester students are eligible for placement drives in campus. There are many companies that visit our college some of them are wipro,Accenture,Tcs, etc they made many offers in packages and still our college is developing. Highest package is around 13 lpa and average package is 6 lpa as per companies offered. Many students get the campus placement some of them are with high package. My plan is also to get a better job opportunity in our college placements.

Rather than this college I also applied for other colleges nit's in the counseling I got this college because of my rank.i also choose this college because it has good placement percentage and average package.and one more reason is I am a native of Andhra Pradesh so this college will be some near also and the food will be good. College life at NIT-AP

I liked this college because studying at a national institute is every student's dream. It is not that much easy. Particularly, we can't compare these national institutes with other colleges as they are highly prestigious. The main reason why I have chosen this college, we (Andhra) people have 50% reserved seats in the college. Eligibility is students should have to clear their jee mains exam with the best percentile to secure their dream branch. The cut-off will be changed every year.
