Likes

As it was growing nit it provide at most facilities to its limits
The faculty are very friendly and encourages students for their interest
The sports facilities are quite good and encouraging students towards both indoor and ourdoor games

Dislikes

As it is growing nit there are lots of facilities to be provided
The library lacks some books which are required
Some classes are still to be digitalised yet

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum provided is quite tough sometimes and free at some sem it varies now they are including core subjects since 2 sem onwards which reduces some burden but although implanting other courses basic level to all the branches and exams would be very frequent

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 63000 per year

Internships Opportunities

They provide 8th sem as free time for going out for intenships for iit madras and other iits too and if we refused to do intenship they provide us time to develope a project as our exam to complete the degree

Placement Experience

The placement here are quite decent enough even the least branches would be placed with least package of 6 lpa but all is based upon the student he should develope skill irrespective of book knowledge they will guidance to gate, cat exams at final year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearwise fees would be nearly 63k( tution fee),if you avail fee reimbursement your fee will be remitted and hostel fee is around 35k. If your are sc/st you have to pay only hostel that too approximately 12k and no tution fee

Campus Life

They held 2 fests a year named techriya and vulcanzy .The library provide atmost possible books but lacks a minute books,there would be active progress towards sports and sports faculty also provide their coaching and facilities if students are interested

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is up to the mark it provides clean drinking water in both hot and cool conditions and free wifi and cold and hot water for bathing according to climatic conditions and mess dood is both combination of both south and north india style

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

Basically I applied for other colleges like nit calicut, Warangal, tirichy and i didn't get approval as my percentile was low for admission the eligibility for our college is 75 percent in 12 th board and good percentile in jee mains which is around more than 95 percentile

Faculty

The faculty are good and experienced here and teaches well ,even we ask the doubts seperately at their cabins irrespective of time ,coming to exams it is quite complicated cause there would be minor 1,2 and mid and end sem exams which quite more

Night Life

Actually it is a huge area it include gym which was opening at morning 6 to 9 and ay evening from 6 to 8 , there also exist canteen which is hygenic and food is quite tasty but charge a little bit high

Rather than this college I also applied for other colleges nit's in the counseling I got this college because of my rank.i also choose this college because it has good placement percentage and average package.and one more reason is I am a native of Andhra Pradesh so this college will be some near also and the food will be good. The only way to get admission into nit andhrapradesh is through jee mains examination. Cut off percentile Is 95. It is youngest nit in India. Infrastructure in nit ap is less compared to other nits. Placements are comparable to other nits colleges...Read More

College life at NIT-AP

I liked this college because studying at a national institute is every student's dream. It is not that much easy. Particularly, we can't compare these national institutes with other colleges as they are highly prestigious. The main reason why I have chosen this college, we (Andhra) people have 50% reserved seats in the college. Eligibility is students should have to clear their jee mains exam with the best percentile to secure their dream branch. The cut-off will be changed every year. It is around the 93 percentile to achieve a branch in the college for an Oc student. Overall admission process is very smooth and not that complex....Read More
