Remarks

Positives- over all experience in the University is very good, the ambience is good we have good teaching and non teaching staff. Negatives- there is no proper ground in the university no good canteen to eat.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Presidency University provides many course options to their students as per the exams there mainly 4 components those are test 1 with 20% of the marks (i.e, 40 marks) test 2 with 20% of the marks (i.e, 40 marks) assignment with 20% of the marks (i.e, 40 marks) and end term with 40% of the marks (i.e, 80 marks) and as per the labs and their marks depends on the particular course the marks are basically devided as the data stored in the computer/model, lab record(including viva), mid term exam(including viva) and end term exam(including viva)

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are very good on the University this academic year University achieved 100% placements. Yes college provides internships but there is no stipend and internship is compulsory for all the students

College Events

4.5

The events are split in to 2 types those are major and minor Major events- this task place 2 times a year, even students of different colleges and universities can attend both the events. Minor events- there are many events under this which are mainly to make the students interact with each other and to bring out the talents in the students and only for few events students of different colleges and universities are allowed to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are 3 types of fee Type 1- for the students who come through entrance exam and have been allotted a seat in the University. Type 2- for the students who come through entrance exam and have not been allotted a seat in the University but are eligible for the course. Type 3- management seat Over all the fee is feasible

Fees and Financial Aid

If the CGPA is above 9 in 12th are the percentage in 2nd PUC is above 90% than the student is eligible for the scholarship provided by the college which is 50% of the fee and there many other scholarship based on the students cast. I don't receive any scholarship so I have no idea about other scholarships

Campus Life

4

There many extracurricular activities in the University few are only for the students of the University and few are for both the students of the University and the students of the other universities and colleges. Labs are good and they are still improving them. Sports is not a big priority in the University

Alumni/Alumna

We generally don't interact with the students of different academic years so don't have any idea about the senior students they may are may not be helpful.

Admission

I was allotted the set through k-cet after that I paid the k-cet fee and reserved the seat for me after that I went to the college with the acknowledgement of k-cet stating that I have been allotted a seat here in this college and have paid the k-cet and a particular fee has to be paid as college fee to get the administration in the college and I paid that particular fee and joined the college

Faculty

4

There are plenty of faculty members in the college(319 at present) and the college is still hiring the faculty, the faculty at the University are basically from IIT's and NIT's so there is not no problem in there teaching

From 7th semester, students are eligible for internships and placements. The placements over here are good but only if you maintain your cgpa. There are various companies that come to college for placements. Placements for cse and ise are pretty good.

Teaching should be changed actually most of the faculty do the ppt reading. I would say that clad training for placements are really good. They put their effort to make us prepared. Timings would be 3hrs for semester end exam and 2hrs for mid examinations.
