A glance at NIT WARANGAL

Positive: placements are good compared to other nits. Negative: so much strict rules and regulations.

Course curriculum are good and they have been recently updated so basically we can say that institute is running parallel to the demand of current situation. Exam structure : there will be 4 exams in each semester( 2 minors, mid, end)

Placements and internship scenario is quiet good in college when it is comoared to other nits but again if you comoare it with iits then obviously it will be low. I too got an internship offer from Samsung Bangalore with good pay.

When it comes to events then I would sau one thing that college life nothing more than collection of events happening at college. Probably everyday there is one or other event going on in college except exam days. Clubs organize a lot of events. Apart from club events there are two major fests of college. Technozion and Spring spree.

Fee structure is totally feasible because here we have scholarship based on income(that's the best part). So no need to worry about fee. Moreover if u are talented enough then u may get under 2k scholarship too.

There are many scholarships a student can avail like under 2k scholarship, state scholarships, merit scholarship(by college). Under 2k scholarship will be given if a student is able to get rank below 2000 in jee mains. State scholarships depends on particular states and it may vary state to state. Merit scholarship is given to branch toppers(like top 5-8).according to this whole fee whatever they have paid in entire semester that will be reimbursed. Apart from all these there is income based scholarship also which goes like this: Below 1 lakh/ ST/ST: no fee at all Between 1lakh and 5 lakh: 1/3 fee I am availing merit scholarship among the above mentioned.

When it comes to extra activities particularly in sports our college is not that good because they don't provide proper funding and attention to sports. Laboratories are pretty good and they have good working equipments.

Hostel facility is quiet good as comoared to other colleges but day by day there is sharp decline in this too. When it comes to mess food then it depends on the particular mess. U will be having option to choose mess.

Alumni network is so strong. We get a lot from them in terms of finance as well as other useful helps in placements, most of alumni are at very good places that not only add extra value to Institute but also helpful for students.

Admission to all NIT's is done through JEE mains and based on 12th marks (but now this part is removed). If you are an NRI then you can get admission through sat score too. But for Indians only one way JEE MAINS.
