Gauhati University and the life it holds

I was really attracted by the campus life and hostel life and thought studying would be great in those campus. There is no real world application everything is theoretical. Areas of improvement are innovation and creativity to be brought by faculty and use of modern technology.exam timing are off usually ends before the new year and during it. Final exams are relatively easier than sessional

They have a total fee of 2,32,000 rupees out of which the admission is 25,000 including enrollment fees per semester fees is 23000 in GU campus.The various scholarships that we can attain are kishan uday,dhe scholarships Etc. It has integrated programme of 4years of bcom and a year of Mcom under FYUGP.

Their are various festivals like bhupendra nath and various annual programmes held bythe uni.there is a large library and it offers books of all sorts. There are projectors present in the uni and have galllery or classroom. There is large field for playing outdoor games.like cricket football and all.Student portal or onlinegu.in is great and easy to use

I applied for various central universities through cuet exam but was able to get only 3 universities one is tripura uni.I didnt have real connection and as i already read in cotton university i wanted to experience the hostel life of gu.i gave GURET exam and passed it with ease and was selected. CUToffs were above 75%

For every 60 plus student we have 7 or 5 professors.The economics faculty are the best their approach and teaching style id brilliant on the other hand the English faculty is not so nice and they give very less marks. The mid term or sessional exams are hard while the final examination is very easy and one cam easily score marks.

The most famous place for hanging out is market place where there is a large hall which has all sorts of shops in it.it has cafes, restaurants, stationery shop,vendor,clothing store,groceries etc Everyone during evening hangout there and it is very safe for female students.
