Likes

Good infrastructure and good facility for seating
The sports oportunity is more in this college
Labs are well maintained and clean with all equipments

Dislikes

There is less placement opportunity here.
There are no sports equipments and not good courts
Teaching is not felt professional and nice

Course Curriculum Overview

They mostly focus on the VTU syllabus and make us to do multiple revisions behalf of that They teach us coding.The timing are best ,it is from 8:20 to 2:00 I will have lot of time for self study and skills

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay 1lakh rupees to college as Tuition fees and I paid registration fee as 9500 and admission fees as 4500 Lab fees 8000 I belong OBC catagory I took admission through kcet, I applied for SSP scholarship.

Campus Life

I campus is small than expected but we can stay social with everyone there is no any restrictions.There are no clubs held like other colleges the infrastructure is good and even they are new bulidings built

Admission

I have taken addmission through kcet I could have got better college but for fees cirtiria I choose this college because the cutoff was average I got SNQ catagory addmission such my fees is very compared to others.

Faculty

There is no mentoring session but the faculties are very friendly and helpful in academics there are remidials classes are held and they make lab experiments practice and do multiple times in the lab.

Night Life

There is a huge canteen which is accessible for both hostelates and day scholars and there is small gym which is paid for all there is a massive library and there is small canteen where snacks are sold.

MIT Manipal boast a night life worth spending!

Placement Experience:

Around 47 students in our course and in 2025 36 of them were placed and rest I don't think even applied as jobs were definitely available. Infosys, Polaris and others who are now world famous for building cyber security systems were at MIT Manipal to hire students.

5 month into the cmrit how it unfoleds for the freshers

Placement Experience:

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Bold, Beautiful and Brutal shades of UVCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.

Placement Experience:

As our college has 100 years of legacy it was one of the top college. For the reason of its legacy many companies offers jobs and many of the best companies are come to our college. As I am first year student I don't have idea about it lot. Average placement is 54 lakhs. Almost above 70% of students get placed.

From the 7th semester, college starts to prepare you for campus placements the final year students are eligible for placements. Number of companies visited the campus named TCS, Jspiders/Qspisers and Kodnest. The highest package got in the placement is 9lpa and average package is 3.5lpa offered by the companies. 40% of students got placed. The reason behind I choose to this college is a good teaching environment. Honestly, I chose this college as this had less fees and was affordable than other colleges that I applied to. Additionally, I had heard that placements were pretty good here.
