Likes

I like the level at which proffesor teach they are very interactive and friendly
There are lot off facilities for students as library,ncl ,playground, gym and many more
There is very good infrastructure for sports

Dislikes

here Many courses are very tough to only pass
Infrastructure for hostels is not very good
Sometimes mess food is not upto markable for fine like too much oily

Course Curriculum Overview

The coursework is very good and flexible student have choice to choose courses according to their intrest and the course is designed in such a way that it is suitable for every level of student the curriculum prepare us for real world so that we dont have any problem.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement opportunity for Msc Mathematics student is not as same as the Btech course here placements for Mac student in only in jee coaching industry or in data science the tech companies are not mainly open for Msc student

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees in iit kanpur for Msc maths is 60000.there are various scolarship available for msc students such as MCM scolarship, Free messing scolarship for st student and some more the main purpose for scholarship is to give tusion fees and some pocket money to student.

Campus Life

I have a very good experience in campus life we meet to people comming from different are all around country and world there are varieties of club and group that every student can join on there intrest and infrastructure of collage is good.

Hostel Facilities

We are having a decent hostel facility the room are bit old because we are alloted old hostel but the new hostel are good we get mostely good food in hostel it is a decent place to live there is enough space to play different sports in hostelm

Admission

| Priffered iit kanpur over any other iit because it is good in pure mathematics which is my area of intrest and the course curriculum is very flexible and covers most of the area of mathamatics that is good for student going in higher mathematics

Faculty

The proffesor student ratio is 1.66 in Msc maths department the proffesor are very friendly and helping there are many quizes, midsem, endsem in a given semester and the difficulties of the course varies for different proffesor and purposs of the cource.

Interview Experience

No i didn't face any group discussion, interview or written test for the admission ,because there is direct sheet after examination, so i prepare only for wwritten test after cracking it there was cutoff uploaded by iit then i got

Night Life

The nightlife for students in iit kanpur is very interesting student play games move in the campus in areas like oat and walk on roads there is no restrictions on timing on hostel so student are free to move in and out at any time in 24 hours

My honest opinion about my university

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes tha curriculum are well structured and good for every exams because I have to go to civil field that's why I chose due to there interdisciplinary studies and connection to every exams and filed The curriculum is good and prepare for rural society and also provide further research opportunities for future in the rural technology and society The curriculum needs to be for technical and entrepreneurship based There is 3 hour exam for semester and the level of questions paper in exam is moderate to hard .

IITK From Sparsh's Perspective

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. The cut-off for IITK varies-from branch to branch. For example the CSE of IITk open from Jee advanced general rank of 115 to 250....Read More

Life @ IITK

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
