In 1st sem 6 department compulsory couser were given to you for making your base strong and bring the class in same level. In 2nd sem you given 5 department compulsory courses in 3rd sem 3 department elective and 2 open elective will be choosen by you and in 4 th sem 3 Department elective and 2 Open elective is given

In Msc maths course internship is given as a research internship in which not every one got stipend . most of student do internship to get in there cv. Some students in campus do there internship under a surge program

Generally mostly students coming in IITK only to go in research field . While some students are willing to take placement in Ed tec company but average package of Ed tec company is low in comparison to other IT sector companies. So if you are wanted to take placement don't come in this collage as Msc maths student other department are good in placements

Msc maths is 2 year course(4 semester) each sem has tuition fees around 3000rs and there is a gymkhana fees around 1000-1500rs and caution money 17500rs and insurance and medical facilities fees around 500rs and hostel fees has two part first to pay 13500rs has been given and secondly 5000-6000rs for two months which is called as Basic mess charge including electricity and hostel maintaince this may be changed according to the cost of mess food raw materials. Scholarship for general top 5% student in ranking has been given 15000rs for 1st year and for second year top 5% of students are selected by result of 1st year For SC/ST free basic mess scholarship is given in which fees of mess which was asking monthly is given directly and also 500 rs is given to you monthly for pocket allowance for 10 month . Also SC/ST student don't have to pay tuition fees ie 3000rs

In IITK different fest is performed like Udgosh as a sports fest Antaragini as a cultural fest and Teckkriti As a tech fest and different clubs are also involved in celebrating festival like Diwali Holi also clubs like motersports, anime socity , rubics cube club, arts club, dance club , and different gaming clubs

On 1st year 3 shared room is provided to you and after 2nd year 2 or may be single room is provided to you . menu of the mess has also vast variety and 2 times in a week Chicken and paneer is also provided

I have applied in this college because it has good facult in mathematics and this collage have very less fees in comparison to other iits also this collage is near to my home town. Also mess food is very much familiar with me

In msc maths each class strength is around 45-50 and maths department has sufficient professors around 1.66. Department is very approachable for students. Apart from some professor most of the professors are very understanding and humble in nature Exam level are completely depends upon professors. Mostly 2 quizzes will be taken 1 before mid term one after mid term and then one end term. Mostly either mid term is average or may be end term will be average . And if mid term is average then end term will be hard or above average and vice versa.

For taking admission in IITK as a Msc maths needed to clear IIT JAM exam which was held in February month after that in last of the March result is declared after that in April we have to select collage preferences accordingly in roughly around may start an call leter is send to you by collage in which instructions were given

Night life is very fascinating in IITK. In campus every hostel canteen is open around 2 am while if exam were started then till 4 am canteen is open also price of foods in canteen is affordable. Also different stores is also open till late night
