Course Curriculum Overview

I know it is not a good course but due to the low rank I have to forcefully choose this branch in Indira Gandhi Institute of technology Sarang the frequency of timing of exam is very difficult to study and complete the course between them

Placement Experience

In the 7th semester students are eligible to campus placement there are many companies visited to our college Swaraj take Mahindra oil and soil IFFCO et cetera the highest package of our college is 900000 and lost packages 2 lakhs per annum my plan after getting degrees highest study

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I have to paid 29000 in materials and metrological engineering branch the development fees 5000 the lap is 5000 admission fee is 3000 and the registration fees 1500 the scholarship are not provided by our college

Campus Life

The name of the festivals and annual functions organised by our college is arohan and Anual athletic meet and the biggest function of our college horizon in our college support different types of sports and we have a playground to practice our college of different types of clouds so that umeed club goonj club sole club drishya club

Hostel Facilities

The food quality is good in our college and in our hostel the menu consists of veg and non veg in veg the paneer mushroom and chilli gobi are provided and in the non veg the chicken mutton fish egg are provided

Hostel Fee: INR 46000 per year

Admission

I got rejected from Odisha University of technology and research and veer Surendra Sai University of technology because of lower ranking in joint entrance examination rank the admission process of our college is based on JEE mains ranking

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio in our department is 1: 15. The faculties are highly qualified Mtech from NIT and IIT the faculty I like the most is Nirmala Sahu madam and laxmidhara jana sir. The exam difficulty level is average

Night Life

There are two cafeteria which is opened up to 10:00 p.m. and one library and no gyms the hostels for the boys is closed at 11:00 p.m. and the hostels for the girls is closed at 8:00 p.m. yes the locality is the safe to Rome around night

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

Electrical engineering is a very respected branch in our college as many industries are built near this area which take students from campus selections.
