Likes

First the fees of my college is very low
Fees of exams are also very low. which is 200 per subject
The syllabus and exam both are easy to pass

Dislikes

Firstly I don’t like their service . They are very slow
Not easy to contact on the given numbers
One of the biggest challenge is self learning and giving exams with one’s own knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum of ignou courses are pretty good .. one can learn and acquire knowledge.. there writings are easy to understand .. However some parts are very lengthy Frequency of exams is 6 months ..they conduct exams in June and December for every year

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 3600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

IGNOU fees for BCOM general is usually between 3.6k - 4K per year and it's usually increasing every year. However the fees is very affordable in comparison of other colleges. There are many scholarships schemes also for students

Campus Life

As ignou doesn't provide any regular course..all course are distance based ..so there are no activities of any kind...however there are certain activities where one can attend and also get awarded....

Admission

I did apply for other colleges .. I also got admission but later I decided to leave that college due to one of its drawback ...at that time it was difficult for me to apply for other colleges rather than taking admission in ignou

Faculty

Hence it is a disntance college ; so mostly there are no teachers. However the faculty of regional centre is sometimes good and sometimes bad (depending on the query)..mostly they do not pick up the calls.. Exams are pretty easy .. there are choices also but there evaluation is dissatisfactory

Night Life

As there are no regular courses or a certain campus of ignou .. so there are no hostels ,no cafeteria types hangouts...however there is an online library at the ignou website.. there is no social life of an ignou student

Bcom that they offered was good enough to prepare one for the real world applications as various examples and field activities were also conducted by the college at that time . Teacher student ratio should be taken care of along with lethargic teaching methods like lecture method . Exams were held every 6 months and the difficulty level was easy.

DELHI UNIVERSITY - A GREAT HEADSTART

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell within the colleges but numerous are not dynamic and those who are dynamic do not offer great arrangements. As it were Srcc , LSR or St. Stephens offer pleasant placements. Most colleges offer arrangements between 3 - 4 lacs but over said colleges can give you situations with normal 8 lacs. But, I would prescribe you to not go for placements but higher things because it will increment your information and assist you to advance in your work and do it effectively whereas doing work fair after graduation will not allow you to regard merely continuously needed in the corporate world.

All about IGNOU

I applied only to this college because of its flexibility ( you can choose your exam centre anywhere in India), affordability and degree recognition, not because it was my dream college. I didn't applied to any other college. The eligibility for admission is based on minimun academic qualification like 10+2 for UG programs. Only some professional programs may have entrance exam but for general UG/PG none are needed. no competitive cut offs admission is fully online and transparent with minimal paperwork....Read More

I applied in college in Delhi only, and got selected in IP University as well, but I was looking for a correspondence mode of study so I withdrawl that option and applied for IGNOU.
