- faculty are well educated and most of them are at least done M.tech and some faculty also done Ph.D faculty of the GEC rajkot follow proper schedule for study and teaching method is fabuloustic
- placement ratio is very good and growth in opportunities is absolutely fantastic.
- college has huge library.campus is larged enough to other college and college has canteen also.[overall infrastructure of college is excellent]
Dislikes
- some faculties are poor in taking assignment and submissions.
- less curricular activities compared to other colleges.
- higher placement only come from computer departments,other departments have lower average placement ratio,they focus more on internship

many companies offers intership opportunities like parthway arganisation ,emiprotechnology pvt ltd,wey bee solution .etc... roles provided by that compny: software development projects mechanical engineering projects etc..
Placement Experience
student become eligible for campus placement from the end of 6th semester. gec rajkot's recruiter companies are reliance industrial limited,bolt weybee solution,taracasoft,adani,simform,weboccult,and many more. highest package in 2024 was 7.4 lpa from computer ,mechanical and electrical department. average package is arround 4 lpa in computer department. roughly 50%students are placed last year.
Fees and Financial Aid
1500/-is tution fees for non-tfws students amd 0rs for tfws students.750/-s mandatory for both tfws students which is for institute fee. in those 750 rs they include: library fees:40rs laboratory fees:160rs gymkhana fees:150rs
Campus Life
overall experience with campus life is excellent ,but according to my pov there is one major problem for girls students.there are no goverment hostel faclitiy provided by college for girls so they have to up-down from the city. our college has impressive infrastructure to support both acadamic and extracurricular activities. college arranged sports festival once in a year college library has vast collection of different type pf books and acadamic resources for students.any student with college I-card can borrow books from the library. students have various opportunities to involve in various clubs like GDSC(google developement student club),gate higher&abroad studies club.
Admission
I choose this college over the other colleges because i considered many parameters like location ,college reputation,college faculties and many more. according to my area location and my rank in acpc this is the best goverment college so i choose this college over another private college.
Faculty
our college has large team of well qualified and experienced faculy accross various departments. facultis are very polite and behaviour of them towards the students is very kind and they support students to improve there potential. there are total 3 exams in college per semester: 1,mid sem exam(30 marks) 2.gtu university exam(70 marks) 3.partical exam(50marks;20marks internal assessment +30 marks viva exam)
Night Life
college senior is arrange freshers party for new students and thry choose different locations every year. personally for hangout spot i choose local hotels and cafeteria and the race corce garden. there are 3-4 private hostels near by the college so the students can stay there.
