Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate 4.5 out of 5 for the curriculum...it is very upto date and has contains all the requirements which are needed in industry ...there is a end semester which is conducted by mumbai university

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 96000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for BE IT for EWS is 67000? and then 55000? for 3 yrs which I'm paying currently and my friend is paying 3000? yearly for SC category. For Open category fees is 115000? per yr and for EWS reservation it becomes half that is 57000

Campus Life

The environment of the college is very positive..there are many events throughout the year ...there are many committees in our college of each department...there is an annual fest called milestone where students enjoy ..

Admission

The admission process was online ...i was allocated the college through cap round by Mhtcet exam..the cutoff during my admission for information technology was 89 percentile...this was the best college in my area

Faculty

The teaching faculty in our college is very good at tecahing..they uses e notes to teach and give us the practical knowledge ..also the syllis up to date ..there are two internal exams and they are easy to pass

Night Life

There is no hostel in the college..but there are many hangout places near our college ..like there is a garden at a walking distance of 1 min from our college where students can walk and chill...also in the campus ..

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. In datta meghe you can get addmission through jee, mht cet and management Cet cut off for computer branch is near to 92.5 percentile for general for caste it is low Most of the students get addmission through MHT cet in my college. REALITY OF Datta Meghe College of Engineering

I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
