- There are extra cost which you have to bare yourself which quite frustrating
- In every event you register you have to pay a fee or else you won't get a certificate
- You have to do various courses online to get certificate or else you are not getting merot points
Course Curriculum Overview
The teaching, facilities, opportunities,extra courses and the reputation of the college made me chose this college and course The curriculum will train you in a corporate way so that there won't be problems in the future. They give free access to courses such a linkedin leaning, coursera,swayam The only thing i hope they could don't take extra charges for events held The exams they are not soo tough all comes from the notes and suggestions. Theres a minimum gap of 1 month between each mid term and semester exam
Internships Opportunities
Various companies keep visiting so you don't need to worry about placements. Companies such as Infosys, wipro, TCS, decathlon,amazon keep coming. The salary varies it can't be disclosed but its good for freshers. The companies comes and gives few projects and task which are to be completed and then those who passed will be called for an interview. If you pass well done to got the job. I didn't take any internship i am telling the reviews i got from my seniors
Placement Experience
The company's starts visit even from 1st semester Infosy, wipro,TCS, amazon,decathlon visit frequently. For IEM students they offer more package recently infosy offered to give 600000 per year to freahers if they to technology and AI The highest package is 75lakh and the average is around 10 lakh The student are offered placement opportunities if they have a average grade and skills. So percentage varies about about who takes placement My plan is to pursue higher studies after BBA
Fees and Financial Aid
First sem you have to pay 70,000 (the extra 10,000 is for registration)from then on you have to 60,000 every six months. All the lab fees tuition fees, develop fees are included. The other extra fees like books clothes shoes these are not included in the package. By batchmates paid the same fees Note : they won't give any financial aid Scholarship like swami vivekanda is available
Campus Life
There will be various event every month in each building. So you get various opportunities to explore. Events include- start up. Expo, fashion, chat jpg, content creation Iem offers free access to there library. They offer a card to access the library. The books available there is a must read IEM offers karate and meditation classes once week also to can take part in sporys club Every classroom has AC and Fans in there. There is cafeteria though there is on campus on ashram building There are different clubs musical club, dance club,sports clubs, budget club, creative club etc
Admission
I did go to techno and amity but after seeing how reputed IEM is the chose IEM over any college I didn't get rejected from any college You have to first register your name in the college website and then you have to give an exam which will be held in the college you will get a hall ticket for the exam you can choose the date to the exam available from the options. The exam you have to give is basic such as English maths history geo (but before registration and exam you need to have above or 70% per else they reject you in the start they are very strict about this)
Faculty
The faculty members are very approachable and helpful. There teaching skills are awesome no doubt in that In our faculty the business communication and economics department they really give there best to help us I haven't met any faculties whom i dislike till now all are friendly The exams are moderate. We give 3 exams from college mid 1 mid 2 and semester. There are also nptel exams(optional)
Interview Experience
There were no interviews. They will to call you if you are intreasted to take admission or not. If you are they will tell you to register you name in the college website and tell you to visit them. The admission process will be offline no admission process is done online. After registration They will tell you to take a test on date you chose to give exam. The test will be to gk, basic science ,math ,english. The test will be offline on spot on a pc . The pattern of exam is mcq The criteria for admission is you must secure 70 per or above in your boards I didn't prepare for the exams. You don't need to prepare for anything its all basic
Night Life
The cafeteria and library is open till class hours which is from 9:30 to 4:10 Since i don't live in hostel i can't tell Famous place you can say is nalban park, eco park. The nalban park they safe to not safe to roam around at night
