My honest review for my college Government engineering College, Bhavnagar

I choose the course of civil engineering because of its very expand version in choosing future, you can work in government authority and in different type of private sector. The improvement in this course need is practical knowledge. Practical knowledge is much more needed in future. Exam takes place at every 6 months.

The companion intrested in our college is very few an mostly nirma pvt ltd hires the students. They offers roles from main manager to site supervisor and helper . The stipend fluctuate from 40000 to 10000 by student intelligence.

Students is eligible after one year of course. Verious placement fair takes place in college and students can apply for them by their interest and if they are capable then they can get hired too. I never applied for any placement fair because of my interest in government sector. Highest package in college was 6lpa and average package is 3 lpa. My plan is first completing degree and then focusing on civil services.

Year wise i will be paying the fees around 4000 including collage and exam fees, Everyone has to pay same amount of fees except girls, they have less fees. There is different type of scholarships in which you can apply like digital gujrat and mysy and many more. In mysy Government helps you by providing half of college fees and other amount for help in purchasing books. If you live in private hostel then financial help of 12000 also available.

There is less amount of time when annual function happened and tech fest hald. Mostly the fresher party happen which is also gets organized by students themselves. In library all type of books available specially the reference books needed in academic. Sport activities are also very few. Students runs different type of group and clubs by their intrest to motivate other students.

Firstly I applied for LD collage of engineering, ahmdabad and then my second choice was the college I'm currently studying in. I applied for this college over other because of its environment and good faculty. My first preference was LD collage and didn't got there because i just short ranked for 100 students over me. I applied for BE engineering after my diploma course, for addmission in be your spi of last two semester of diploma is counted and you get your rank from it.the overall addmission experience was very good.

The faculty to student ratio is very less.1 faculty to almost 100 students. I liked the sir named Himanshu Shrivastava sir. He is very friendly to all the students and his character is very inspiring to all the students. There is no faculty whome i dislike personally. There is 2 semester exams in one year and mid sem exams in middle of one semester. They are easy if you study properly.

The hangout spots near collage is bor-tlav, pill garden , maxus cinema , coffee culture and many more. Clothing shops like max, zudio and many more also available near collage. Hostel is just near the college campus and students need to enter the hostel by 09:00 pm. Inside the college there is zero hangout place while outside is much more.
