What Students Say

Likes

Faculty is very knowledgeable and open to students, helps them in every sort possible.
Good location, vicinity and areas around are good.
Great gardens with scenic spots, very lively for students.

Dislikes

Administration is very slow, like the administration work are always delayed.
Sports facilities are not adequate, no dedicated grounds for badminton,basketball, etc.
Average food, food is tolerable but you might get bored of it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculam is very nice for the law subjects but for the BA subjects it can be very tiring at times. Like same concepts are repeated again and again in various subjects. E.g- Often what taught in Pol Science is same to what is taught in History, so it can be repetattive on some occasions.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fees is nearly 2 lacs per year whereas some scholarships are also available for meritorious student. The fees for the complete course will come out nearly to be around 11 lakhs, and its not increasing at a fast pace but yeah some minor changes do take place.

Campus Life

The campus life is good and lively, we have got all basic necessities on the campus. Apart from that socities and centre are very active and we have got tons of that like- EAC Moot Court Society Cultural Society ( Saviskara) Quiz and Debate Society (Dakshata)

Admission

I choose this college based on its vicinity and proximity. This place is very close to Delhi and falls within the NCR region which itself becomes a very big plus point. Other options which I had was CNLU, Patna and couple of more but going there would have been very tedious and hectic for me as all were very far off.

Faculty

The faculty is really nice and helpful at all times, they are very open to students and always try to help them. The complete course is divided into 10 semesters, with mid sems in between and end sems at the end of semster. Marking scheme is GPA out of 10 and pretty easy to score good. A student with 75% and above will have a GPA of 10.

Night Life

The college campus gets closed at 10 in night also in order to get out after that you need prior permissions which makes it all a little difficult. Also, in Sonipat all the eatries are shut by 12 in night which make it pretty boring so if you need to have fun afterwards you have to go to Delhi only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is made as per the rules and regulations of haryana govt and everything is up to date and the professors also take some extra classes for us to understand better when new laws were introduced our professors took extra efforts to taech that to students which build a good foundation for students there need to be some more practical classes such as moot courts for better understanding

Placement Experience:

For BBA.LLB course no batch has yet graduated, and the first batch to graduate is in their last academic year. We are expecting placements to start early this year, and after the graduation of our final batch, we will get a fair idea about the packages to be offered. Although IIM already has well-established placement records for other courses, it is expected to be the same for the law course

A comprehensive brief of IIM Rohtak IPL Programme

Placement Experience:

i think the students become eligible for placements from the 13th term. our first batch hasn't graduated yet. they are due to graduate in 2026. but certain law firms which have visited our college and have offered internships to our students are Khaitan & Co., Luthra, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, IndusLaw. Honestly, I have not decided yet what career i would want to pursue but yes, having a campus placement in hand definitely gives a sense of security. I may pursue an LLM after this or may enter into litigation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum well built as per guidelines of Bar Council. Prepares us for the needs of the future as well as for current exams. Frequency of exams is four exams an year. The difficulty level of exams is average to difficult.

The day to day life in Dr. BR Ambedkar National Law University Sonipat

I got this college through CLAT and it being a government college played a huge role in wanting to apply and get here as the NLU tag matters a lot when you are applying for internships and such and is a first generation lawyer. Even though the ranking of college right now is in Tier 3 it has a lot of chances to grow making it desirable automatically. Moreover, apart from this I applied AILET which I didn't get into.
