Truth about PES Mandya

The curriculum is the forced curriculum of VTU . Most topics are basically irrelevant . To face the real world issues and job hunting this curriculum is not recommended also . To improve this Curriculum they should focus more on subjects that are useful for providing placements etc .

Microsoft , Cognizant , TCS and some more companies provide Internships. Their Internship tasks are like some basic Projects and Mid level Coding Projects and more . But they can provide most 6 months Experience.

Placement are pretty decent like they do Mass Placements like A bunch of students getting placed at a company for fixed prices like infosys , tcs , wipro etc . The Higher quality placements are difficult. Off Campus is Recommended for Higher Packages, Avg is 6-8 lpa and Highest is 24lpa(off campus) and 18lpa (in campus) .

At Beginning it was ?104000 KCET fees and ?18790 for College Fees with ?500 Admission Application fees at College and also , I currently don't have any scholarship benefits. In second year , I payed Directly to the college through their website which is ?118000 . Tution Fees is mentioned in bill as ?76000 and they labelled remaining as other charges like lab , damage control etc all of that remaining price of what remained after ?76000 . I am genral Category. My ST friend paid ?51000 .

Campus is basically Average like more academic focused not allowed to invest much time in club activities very less clubs and very less events . Library Books are less too . Only one annual Event that is PESCO . That's about this College Events .

The Hostel Registration is Pretty simple. The Hostel fees is 65k and basic Facilities are available but no western Washrooms and Food Quality is 1/5 It's bad but Edible . There are 3 PG's Nearby affordable but not Recommended as they are Cramped .

Frankly my KCET ranking is 22180 , So this College is Most Affordable and Reachable from my location. I Applied to CMRIT and Acharya they both were missed by some hundered ranks or so . Admission process is through 4 methods 1.KCET 2.Management 3.COMED-K 4.Diploma Exam

Some faculties are good but most of them are really average to bad . 5 Faculties for 80 people . The relationship between students and faculties is not that good like most of them get annoyed . The understanding of subject of some faculties are very poor .

Gyms are Near and affordable . Grounds are in campus for variety of Sports . Cafeterias are only 5 around College and Hotels are 3 . Hostel Entry closes at night 10PM . Famous place here for food is Harsha Biryani and for Shopping there is More .
