Dislikes
- I disliked that we didn't had classes online

- They assign your exam centre at a different end of Delhi even when you have DU colleges nearby your home.
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course and curriculum 90/100 because you get books online as well as the hard copy from university only if you have a whole day to go there. You get degree just with exams and no unnecessary assignments and without having to go to college every single morning. The curriculum is also great as it does prepare you for real world as there are allot of educational stories and novels in English hons course that I did. Frequency of the course was 3 years and I believe it was TOTALLY WORTH IT.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee was 4999 rupees for 2 semesters for the session 2021-2024 but now it has been double the fees. My all batchmates paid the same fees and as it was correspondence course, there was no scholarship.
Campus Life
The library was nice and had all of the books that you can expect and DU is famous for its fests. Its just you need to stay in touch with unofficial groups of SOL and DU. I personally didnt go to any fests as they are a hole that you can go to for illegal stuff. Student run clubs are nice and you can get enrolled in them by going to university and asking for contact numbers for president of the club that you are planning to join.
Admission
There were other colleges as well who were providing same course and also they were in correspondence mode but Delhi University is the most affordable one and also most reliable as the faculty that you can contact online is great so you do get answers to your queries ASAP but at university, its okayish and very slow. There are other colleges as Amity, IGNOU but one of these is damn expensive and has allot of unnecessary assignments and other one's website is never updated and faculty and infra is also very very poor.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is not very good as teachers are way less than students but that doesn't really affects because we only had to visit for exams and also the SOL department at Maurice Nagar, near Vishwavidayalaya metro station is okayish. There is no place for you to sit and teachers/ admins have little to no interest of helping you or giving you even the books so I didn't go there after I went there once as it takes A WHOLE DAY for getting the books and there is no guarantee that you will get all of the books in a single day.
Night Life
There are allot of food options nearby university. The best one was uncle ji ki bhel but unfortunately he is no more. RIP to him. There are still many food stalls and cafes nearby that you can go to. My favourite one was The yellow door. Locality also seems safe to roam around as there are always police there and security and also the guards. MUST TRY IS MAGGI AND TEA FROM THE STALL JUST OUTSIDE THE STREET THAT YOU ENTER FOR UNIVERSITY.
