Remarks

They don't utilize the additional 3000 rs regarding maintainence. They just keep that money in their pockets. Some teachers are rude and some are very good. The campus is very huge. Principal is best. Nothing else.

Course Curriculum Overview

Its B.com Accounting and Finance shortly BAF. Its b.com specialized course jnder accounta ny nd finance. Only third year exams where boards before year 2017-18. Now all three years exams are board basis.

Placement Experience

They provide variety of placement in respect of the variety of specialization. Most of the placements are sales basis. But still there is more options as compared to other colleges. There is different placement cell who gather all types of internships and jobs.

College Events

Our college's fest name is Utkarsh. Its held every year during December. It also has ots youtube challen. Its very popular among different colleges as other college student can also join the contests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its very expensive. In other colleges BAF fees is 17000. But Somaiya takes 18500. They additional charge 3000 rs for maintenance but that just dont use that money. They just keep that extra 3000 in their pocket.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship facility is provided on the basis of cast structure i.e. SC, ST, OBC, etc. Loan facility is also available like pay only 10% now and remaining during course. They also have book bank scheme for less income family students.

Campus Life

Somaiya has 4th biggest campus in Maharashtra. They have all kind of Labs, Basket ball ground, football ground, cricket ground etc. Every year inter college sports competition held in our collge. Its also include inter campus competitions.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah, the Identity Card i.e. ID card is valid for 5years. So you can come to college even if you are not studying. Well its very nice facility. Yearly alumni gather has held in college during Utkarsh fest in December.

Admission

I scored 79.38%.in 12th. I applied the online application form through the college website. My name was listed on 3rd phase 2nd merit list. After that I filled the admission form , paid the fees and got the admission.

Faculty

4.5

They are good except some of the cheap teachers. They were highly qualified as compared tto other colleges. They teach so well that you dont have to go for extra tuition classes. They are very friendly.

There are no campus placements offered in my college. The placements after completinh the course are great About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered/expected for bcom course at this college is 5 6 lpa, About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of bank accountants etc.

Placement Experience:

De Shaw, and Bain Capital are among the biggest companies and lighter companies are also many. Visa and all are also there which are rare otherwise. For b.com though 30-40k is what is offered but I feel it's fair enough.

Mithibai College of Arts is Music to ears!!

Placement Experience:

Placements society of college is just a decade old and still top companies like Zues Capital, Barclays, and Icici bank are among the top colleges that have become a part of ecosystem where 30-40 students is what each companies hires every year. Not many though as too many sections and 500+ students means getting placed even half the students can be a task where Mithibai placement percentage is 60 odd percentage.

I applied to KJ and Rizvi as well and got confirmation from Rizvi, but after comparing it with SK Somaiya in aspects such as sports and curriculam, SK Somaiya was the best fit for me.
