AMRITA - A HEAVEN WITH SOME CONS

The course curriculum will be updated each and every year according to the current trend. So it is actually usefull to learn new skills. The faculties also teach well. if you study daily then the questions will be easy

now only i am first year so i did not get any internship but you get internship opportunities from third year onwards. You get projects in each and every semester which will help you to improve our skills.

i don't know about placements because i am first year. But i asked to some of my known seniors they said if you have 7.5 cgpa you will get placed. Most of the companies are IT Companies and placement in core company is less. The average LPA is 10LPA. my plan is to get placed in a core company.

Fee Structure: I am studying mechanical engineering in this university, I am paying 3 lakhs per year. It varies according to thier scholarship slab and thier preferred course. I will say about the fees salbs in this university, actually there is 4 fees slab. In this 3 Slabs are scholarship slabs and 4th one is non-scholarship category. You can avail scholarship admission in this university through a Exam called AEEE(Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam) or we can get scholarship slabs through your JEE Mains scores also. You can get to know about the fee structure just by searching fee structure for amrita. I can't say fee for each and every student because as I said already It changes by some criterias. You can also avail some Third party scholarship through your merit score and educational loan also can be applied.

There is so many fests like Anokha where you get connection many other college students. There are lakhs of books available in the library, we can search from the site OPAC. Each every class have WIFI and Projectors. If you are interested in any sports or extra curricular activites you can join.

There will 4 students in the room. each students has a table,cupboard. laundry is paid if you want you can get. boring and only veg is allowed in the hostel mess. hostel registration is you opt while putting admission in college. There will be only 3 gate passes given in a month. During working days you should get approval from the class advisor. there is some PG near this university but i stayed in college hostel.

I also applied for TNEA, SRM, VIT. but i choosed this college because I got the course which I Preffered to choose.The admission process of this college is to write a Entrance Exam called AEEE. It will be conducted two times a year. You can write that exam and you can join. There is some other ways you can join like JEE Mains Percentile and Non-Scholarship

Faculties are easily approachable in this college compared to some other universities like VIT and SRM, because here the intake is less compared to VIT and SRM. So they will communicate with each and every student.Exams are somewhat diificult(if you study average you can clear). There will be advisor meeting each and every week so it will be useful to disscuss and clarify your doubts and issues

gym facilites are good. it is open from morning 5am to night 8pm. there are so many cafeterias around the campus(in some cafeterias non veg are allowed).for first years gate closing time 9pm so you can't enjoy night life that much in first year but in upcoming years you can enjoy.
