Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum consists of wide verity of subjects it has different subjects in different semesters. The curriculum prepare us for real world as it helps us to know about the things required in the field of pharmacy. In this course we do so many practicals which help in knowing about the instrument used in industries. The course is good but the teaching methods of faculty can be improved ther are times when the PhD scholars come in place of professor to teach. It's like after every 1 month there are internal exams and then semester exam following that the difficulty is pretty hard.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total yearly fees is approx 45000 which includes tution fee, admission fee, Lab fees, library fees, registration fees, and many more charges. Everyone has to pay same fees which will be returned in form of scholarship who are eligible. Scholarship is provided differently to different categories (st/sc/obc) general people don't get scholarship.

Campus Life

3

The infrastructure is okay all classes does not have smart class but has projector which. Does not work properly everytime. The college helps youth fest which is the cultural programmes held by the college preformed my students of the university which includes singing dancing competition The college also organise a sports fest in which include different types of indoor and outdoor dore sports There is no club for different activities Things are done in there respective departments

Admission

I chose this college as it's the government college and fees is lower than the private colleges. The selection process is through the ppht exam held by state government. According to you your rank you can apply for counseling through which college is provided.

Faculty

3

The faculty to students ratio is low. They are good in helping us and we can approach them any time. There is no specific faculty I like or dislike. The whole course consists of 8 semester with each year they have 2 semester and each semester has 2 internal exams in between whose marks are added in the final. The exams are not that hard if you study time to time and if you are a good one nighter you can pass the exams.

Night Life

2

There is gym in the college It doesn't contain all the equipment but can be used for light workout . there is no cafeteria in the college. There is centrally located garden which closes at 6:30 pm in evening. Hostel outing time for girls is 8:30pm and for the boys it's 10:00pm There is a Chowpati near the college good fro eating at low cost. The locality is not that safe to roam at night

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced by the nature of the course that how one should handle with the medicines and all the practical related to it. The curriculum of the University will prepare you to bear the stress as it gives a lot of burden either by means of exams or either by practicals. the frequency of practical and the quality of education during practical or studies can be improved by giving E education. The sessional exams are of less marks and the duration of the exam is one hour and the semester exams are of three hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So I am doing B pharmacy in which study of medicines, and all knowledge regarding to drug making to there effect, selling, marketing every thing we study. This course gives me a lot of knowledge about medicine which will help me in future reference when I'll join any medical field like knowledge of medicines about which medicine is given in treatment of what disease. Areas for improvement- I would say the teaching methods should be improved. The working of University shoul be improved they should make easier for students to communicate with them. Timing of exams are hectic. We have to give CT exams in every 45 days and after that we have to give final semester exams. Frequency of exams is not good there is no break for us

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because there are lots of job opportunities here in government, private sector, industry area and medical shops, overall pharmacy field is good here, There is a problem of placement here because Chhattisgarh area is outer and there is less industry here. In contrast, there are more industries in Indore, Bhopal, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Iswaria, so there are more job opportunities there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmacy is an excellent field if you can travel and live outside the CG bcoz there's no scope of pharmacy in CG bcoz it is limited to hospital pharmacy or retail shop or clinical pharmacist only. There's a lot of opportunities outside the CG like indore, chennai , Hyderabad, sikkim, industries. Also if you dislike to work under someone you shall open a retail shop in a proper area to earn more money. Best opportunity is DI and railway pharmacist but their vacancy comes once in 5 year only that is the biggest demerit of pharmacy field i guess. Professorship is also good if you have patience level bcoz PhD is mandatory and not everyone has enough patience to qualify CSIR net and do PhD.
