A great place to start education

The course includes Introduction to Pharmacy in the beginning, followed by Organic Chemistry, Physical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Pharmacognosy in the end. The course is for four years including eight semesters.

Some of the events held in college are - AERB Sponsored National Seminar, International Conference, Minutes of Meeting Governing Body, International Seminar,ICMR Sponsored Workshop,CGCOST Sponsored Workshop,National Seminar,Workshop,Campus Tour of Columbia Institute of Pharmacy.

The fees structure is nearly 50,000 to 1lakh per year which is expensive. But keeping in mind that the facilities that the college provides, the college fees is justified. It attempts to provide the best teachers for their students so that the students reach their goals in future.

There are many types of scholarships available for the deserving students and one can find the details of the scholarships in the college 's official website. A pdf needs to be downloaded which shows the information of all the scholarships available.

This campus has well designed Laboratories, Seminar Hall, Class room, Girls common room, Machine room, Sophisticated instruments room, Library with all necessary books and scientific journals with internet facility, for all round development of the students. The campus also has a beautiful playground with all the sports facility.

Hostel facilities are provided for students. There are two hostels for boys and one for the Girls separately. Each hostel is self contained with amenities such as reading room, hygienic kitchen, and dining hall. The Chief Warden of hostels is the in charge of hostel premises. Hostel accommodation will be provided for all the students and residence in the hostels is obligatory. The students, who opt to stay with their parents/guardians in the city, may be allowed to do so with the permission of the principal.

CIPAA provides a stage to connect the alumni with the Institute. In striving to meet its commitment to good relations with the alumni, the Institute organizes a host of activities to enhance this interaction.The alumni promotes and encourage friendly relations among all the members of the Association, institutionalize scholarships and awards for the deserving former and present students of the CIP Institute for educational and research purposes and promotes career guidance.

The Chhattisgarh state Pre –Pharmacy entrance test to be qualified for the admission. All admissions are performed under the auspicious counseling organized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Govt. of Chhattisgarh, Raipur (C.G).

Professor Amit Roy is the Principal as well as a professor in this college. Dr.Trilochan Satapathy, Mrs.Pushpa Prasad, Mr.Rajkumar Tiwari, Mr.Rahul Yadav, Mr.Homesh Yadav are some of the faculty members from the whole. Faculty members are very supportive and encouraging.
