Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course offered here include Bachelor of Pharmacy and Diploma in Pharmacy. The courses are according to the PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) scheme. The college is under the management of AICTE. It is affiliated to RGPV (Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya) Bhopal.

Placement Experience

2.5

Its a new college so can't comment on that. But we expect that some companies will approach here for placements. As in jabalpur there are very few pharmacy colleges. So we are hopeful that some companies will come here.

College Events

2.5

Durga puja Ganesh puja dandiya garba independence day republic day saraswati puja teacher' day pharmacy day fresher's party etc. But as this Institute is new no annual sports, annual fest or tech fest is organised which is disappointing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee in this Institute is feasible not so expensive but for that amount the teaching experience you get is not upto the mark. The lecturers are not well experienced. But inspite that they are supportive which is good for students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes scholarship scheme is present. It is given to students who are economically backwards. Done done done done done done done done done done done done done done done done done done done done done done done done with this. Cant comment more than this.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The infrastructure of the hostel is not good. The hostel is not maintained properly. As a result the hostel was shut down last year. Now the students opt to stay in private hostels or pg in the city which provide better facilities and food at an affordable price.

Admission

On merit basis (12th percentage). First of all we have to fill the enrollment form in order to get admission. We have to mention all our personal and academic details in the form and then we have to select at least ten colleges in which we want to take admission in decending order of our priority.

Faculty

2.5

The institution needs for experienced faculties. The faculties keep here are not permanent. Every semester we see many new faculties but they are inexperienced. We need faculties who have at least of 10 years of teaching experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced by the nature of the course that how one should handle with the medicines and all the practical related to it. The curriculum of the University will prepare you to bear the stress as it gives a lot of burden either by means of exams or either by practicals. the frequency of practical and the quality of education during practical or studies can be improved by giving E education. The sessional exams are of less marks and the duration of the exam is one hour and the semester exams are of three hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So I am doing B pharmacy in which study of medicines, and all knowledge regarding to drug making to there effect, selling, marketing every thing we study. This course gives me a lot of knowledge about medicine which will help me in future reference when I'll join any medical field like knowledge of medicines about which medicine is given in treatment of what disease. Areas for improvement- I would say the teaching methods should be improved. The working of University shoul be improved they should make easier for students to communicate with them. Timing of exams are hectic. We have to give CT exams in every 45 days and after that we have to give final semester exams. Frequency of exams is not good there is no break for us

Course Curriculum Overview:

Pharmacy is an excellent field if you can travel and live outside the CG bcoz there's no scope of pharmacy in CG bcoz it is limited to hospital pharmacy or retail shop or clinical pharmacist only. There's a lot of opportunities outside the CG like indore, chennai , Hyderabad, sikkim, industries. Also if you dislike to work under someone you shall open a retail shop in a proper area to earn more money. Best opportunity is DI and railway pharmacist but their vacancy comes once in 5 year only that is the biggest demerit of pharmacy field i guess. Professorship is also good if you have patience level bcoz PhD is mandatory and not everyone has enough patience to qualify CSIR net and do PhD.
