Remarks

college infrastructure is pretty great but right now it's in nit Trichy it doesn't have its own campus but nit trichy is great we are using there labs hostel mess etc.its great to have a opportunity to live in nit trichy.

Course Curriculum Overview

curriculum is old it needs to change. there is 2 cycle test of 20.marks and 10 marks for assignment and 50 marks for final paper.they are using curriculum that was used around 20 years back. they should focus on thing that we need like python and java not c.

Placement Experience

placements are good last year 2 of my seniors got the highest package of 27 lakhs but most of the students was places around 4 to 10 lpa salary section.college does provide interns stipend would be around 10 k to 50k depends on your knowledge.

College Events

first we have our cultural fest atrang then we have tech fest coherence.and the most awaited and fun is our sports fest in this fest we battle in every game both year wise and branch wise.i won the gold medal last year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

it's expensive u have to pay around 2.20 lakhs if u are genral cat students.tution fee is 88000 for a sem and hostel fee is 29000 for a sem so that rounds up to 2.5 lakhs per year which will not be cheap in any case.

Fees and Financial Aid

loan is offered by sbi bank without any sweat it's an easy process to get the loan from bank u need an bonafide and some sign from acadmic dean.but unfortunately there is no scholarships for genral students.

labs and all are pretty goof there is nothing wrong with the institute in terms of equipment.sports we have pretty much everything thing cricket basketball football badminton tennis,table tennis,vollyball.

i have cracked jee mains then i attended counseling via josaa.i got around' 20k rank air in jee mains then got that seat on last round went there submitted my docs got everything checked then i got addmitted

Faculty

faculty are pretty good most of them are one of top faculty in india.they teach well but at the end we had to study by ourselves they uses ppt for teaching and we don't understand anything everything depends on self srudy.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year,they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course.The placement is around 95 percent.My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus.There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

LIFE AT VIT

Course Curriculum Overview:

ECE is a core subject in the upcoming technologies like the semiconductor field etc. which is why I chose this branch. VIT has a lot of labs and equipment that enables a person to learn and grasp practical knowledge faster. The teaching methods include using a PPT and using a white board . Sometimes flip classes are done when students explain topics. The 2nd open book test is the toughest in difficulty level when compared to exam 1 and the final test.

I have got seat in NIT but due late in PAF fee payment and other some unknown issues i have got rejected and the seat has been canclled in josaa councilling.I have got this college in CSAB counclling even though is good in perspective of hostel facility and in other . I didnt applied to any colleges I got this college in CSAB special round 2 as my JEE rank is the cutoff rank for ECE in EWS category In AP Eamcet I got 5000 rank but I am not interested into any other private institutions I choose this college For this college admission process is EXAM to join this college is JEE MAINS There will be JOSAA AND CSAB counselling to join this college if you didn't get seat or you are not satisfied with the college you got in JOSAA you can go for CSAB but for CSAB in 2 nd round you need to either accept college or leave money you paid at registration which is around 40000 it is non refundable if you freeze college that money will be transferred to college fee....Read More
