REVIEW OF IIIT TIRUCHIRAPPALLI (explore before you decide)

I liked the infrastucture of buildings as it is a new campus it has 4 buildings:1.ADMINISTRATION AND ACADEMIC 2.BOYS HOSTEL 3.GIRLS HOSTEL 4.MESS

Dislikes

there are several aspects of college grounds that i found less than satisfactory they are uneven no proper maintanence no red soil they are just empty land with some bushes
no running track no indoor courts sports activities are less campus is not completely constructed just phase1 is completed

Placement Experience:

The companies visited are NVIDIA,TCS,PAYTM,IBM ETC the highest package is 48LPA FROM NVIDIA average package is 10 LPA 76 percentage of students place this year highest stipend for internship is 75000 this year my plans are cracking GATE after my degree

IIIT T academic and campus life review

Likes

Faculty and hostel fecility and palcements
Good social interaction students can really enjoy the college life with good security .

Dislikes

Fests in college is not at all good and no fundings for fets and all
Lack of proper ground fecility and sports equipment

placements in our college is quite ok but i cant say that its huge . highest pacakge is around 40lakhs per annum and the avarege is around 10lakhs per annum my plans is to get a placement and after getting the placement do some businnes

i liked is internet which is availed for 24hr and we get a wifi set up in each room
i liked here is rooms with only 2 members

Dislikes

i don't like the faculty . there are biased
we don't have a perfect ground for this clg and sports facility is not good

Placement Experience:

we have average of 10 lac in placements and highest 46 lac per year and students are well educated and intellegent students in my college and placements are good and interviews are good and you should maintain attendence and avg cgpa at last and you will get placement

Hostels are very luxurious and neat for both boys and girls campus is also quite peaceful and no ragging at all for freshers and teaching staff are also friendly
According to placements its not up to the mark as its a new IIIT but its developing day by day

Dislikes

Placements are not upto the mark need to develop a lot and improve a lot based on placements
As its in outskirts of main city there is no availability of many things for small things we need to go to main city which is 20km far

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible for campus placements starting from 6th semester of their undergraduate course during this time companies begin to vist the campus for pre placements talks aptitude and interview Several well known companies from various sectors visit campus for recruitment some of the prominent includes wipro L&T Hcl deloitee amazon etc In the last placement season over 50 companies visited the campus The highest package was around 25-30 Lakhs package and average packages was around 7-10 Lakhs profiles offered were software developers data analyst financial analyst etc On average 75-80% of the students secure placements through campus recruitment After obtaining my degree i plan to secure a job in the technology sector ideally as a data analyst or software developer i am particularly interested in with emerging technology like artificial intelligence and data science

Should be considered before joining IIIT Trichy

Cleanliness painted in hostels very well
Some professor support students very well

Dislikes

No proper facilities for sports no proper ground
No gym proper gym facilities in the college

Placement Experience:

From 8th semester students are eligible for placements Mostly startups are visiting our campus ist of the students prefer off campus placements Most of the students are preparing for gate The placement percentage is very low for campus placements

Only seniors are good . Exam format is good and hostel is also good
Coding culture is little bit better than other college

Dislikes

Don't have sports ground, less placement percentage
No proper medical services available. Hostel rooms have enough space

Course Curriculum Overview:

Courses curriculum is good. Academic is better for future. Having c programing in 1st year that will clesr our basics for future, programing. Helps in competitive programing. Adacemic is good and experience is of my 1st year is good according to academic exams.

The location of the college is not so good

There are placement opportunities given by the college but you should not be too dependent on the college as the package offered by the company is not so good also very few students get selected by the company

Likes

Hostel is preety well and rooms are too good compared to other colleges
Mess food is also good and they will listen every problem

Dislikes

There are no proper grounds and no indoor stadium
No proper medical facilities like we won't get any vehicle for medical emergencies

Placement Experience:

Placements are so poor in condition.college management is trying so much to get placements in this college the average package is like around 16 lacs per annum.In future it has a good hope of getting good placements

Fests that are held are more fun and are good for student interaction
Mess food menu Is flexible and the students have the power to change the menu with proper budget plan

As the college is new it’s neat and clean
Mess food is good as compared to other college

Dislikes

Facilities are not much here, it’s not much good
Faculty is not much experienced staff is not much good no ground facilty no medical facility no good transportation

Placement Experience:

Placements are not much good for campus highest package is 120000 and average paclage is around 800000 40% of students are getting the placements. I want to do ms after completing my graduation because of the placements
