The lab are really good if you can use them .

Dislikes

The campus size is small for a college .
The fine structure can be changed as you can get fined 5k for small things and even 25k for things like attendance

Course Curriculum Overview

I think the curriculum is decent but can be changed a little as there are subjects non relevant to the stream .Also as the syallabus is old it can be improved a little bit .the difficulty of exams is also decen not so tough not so easy .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is like decent if we compare to good colleges or universities.some students from other states like jammu can get 100% scholarship and some can get different amount of scholarships according to their 12% or other things

Campus Life

The campus life is decent .PIET organises two fest per year know as carbuncle and maestros .Also many clubs are present in college which anyone can apply to .Also many sports are also offered in PIET for students

Admission

I chose this college by suggestion of a family member .As this is the best as compared to nearby colleges .Also the admission process is really smooth .Anyone can come to visit college and fill their application if they fulfill the admission criteria

Faculty

The faculty are good .The teaching method are also good .The syallabus and exam structure can be changed a little .There are three sessionals per semester and sometimes we do not enough time in between every sessional.

Interview Experience

No I did not need to go through any round of group discussion or anything like that .I just went filled out my application form and they confirmed my addmission so I didn't need to prepare for any interview or group discussion

Night Life

As I am not a hostel student so I can't say much about the hostel Life or the night life but I think it is also good .students can visit panipat and visit places there to have fun if they want to go out .

Honest review for my college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the curriculum 7/10. It prepared the students with the theoritical aspects but lacked to prepare them for the practical knowledge. It can be improved by focussing more on practical examination. Each semester there were 3 exams, out of which two were sessionals and one was main exam. The exam difficulty level was moderate but the marking was strict.

Affordable B.Tech College with Decent Academics and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

placements at my college are decent but not extremely high like top engineering institutes. College has a placement cell that workds to connect student swith companies and prepeare them for the recruitment process. They orgarnize activities such as resume-building workshopsm aptituted training, mock interviews, soft-skills sessions to help students become more confidebt before palcements. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester of B.tech program. During this time, companies start visiting the campus for recruitment drives and placement interviews. before that student are encouraged to complete internships and improve their technical skills so they better prepared when placement season starts. some of the companies that have visited the campus in recent years include companies from the IT and service sector such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and a few smaller software and startup companies. These companies mainly hire students for roles like software developer, system engineer, technical support engineer, and trainee engineer. the highest package offered in recent year has been around 6-8 LPA, usually offered by a good tech company or startup. Average package is around 3-4 LPA. while the package are not extremely high, they still provide a good starting point for fresh graduates entering the IT industry. In terms of placement percentage around 30-40% of students who actively participate in placements manag to get placed through campus drives. some students also prefer to apply for jobs off-campus which can sometimes lead to better oppportunities depending on their skills and projects.

NIT Kurukshetra - An Institute of National Importance

Placement Experience:

The college offers internships to the students from 3rd year onwards and students become eligible for the placements from the 4th year of college. The companies that visited this time to our college were Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, nab, swiggy and many more. I am planning to target the on campus placement.

From 7th semester students are eligible to sit in the placement rounds A lot of companies visit our college Highest package in 2024-25 session is 63.12LPA and average package for the college is 13.21LPA and median package is 10 LPA Placements are 85.90 percent students are placed out of elegible students for placements I would be like to work in govt sector or private companies

Placement Experience:

Placemts over here are okayish i would say , but the thing is that mostly govt exam aspirants come here so that they can study peacefully without thinking much about attendance an all , there are few clubs for tech enthusiast as well , and you will eventually know students who are into coding and stuff because they are very few . 7-8 Companies are visiting during this recession time , mostly service based , With the avg package of 5 lpa .

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 6th semester itself. Loads of opportunities and proper guidance are provided by the college and the training and placement officer. Students with around 7gpa are good enough for job opportunities.
