One thing that I am not proud of college is the poor management system and lack of accountability.Most of the time they had no idea what to answer .

I appeared for IPU CET for admission to all IPU affiliated colleges.My rank was 3094.I opt for this as this was a government college and renowned for its quality infrastructure.

There were 2 branches namely CSE and ECE.1st year is common for both of them. I was in ECE branch which offered subjects like Signal & Systems,Analog, Circuit and Systems, Digital Circuit, Electromagnetics, Communication Systems, VLSI as core subjects. Others were DBMS, C++, HTML and Software Engineering uptill 3rd year. In the final year, you are asked to select optional subjects. Most of us selected mobile computing and optical communication, In the end we have to submit a project made during final year where we were divided into groups of 3-5 each.

No company came for internship. We had to get our internship from other institutions as there were no system for doing internship from our college. Most of us were not interested in doing internship from the college as they were not offering the courses the students wanted.

Companies like TCS,Standard Chartered, Infosys(1st time during our course period), Impetus, Samsung held the recruitment drive and the stipend varied from 3.2 lpa to 4.8 lpa.

Conversance is the major event held annually in the college alongwith 15-20 other small scale competitions. Various plays based to current themes is also held from time to time.In conversance, student from almost all parts of IP college come and enjoy in 3 day long event including technical and cultural events which is followed by Celebrity performance at the end.

Since this is a government college fees is very affordable which is around Rs. 40000 for first year and Rs. 35000 for the subsequent years.For first year, they take 5,000 as security fees which you can get refunded once you leave the college.

There is no loan facility offered by our college. Scholarship is mainly given to those students who secure top 3 ranks in their program all over the university.

The boys and girls ratio during my time was around 60:40 which might have increased by now.Various workshops by renowned organisations were held every year to provide an insight on how to shape your future. Debates on current hot topics were held about 4 times a year.There was high level of tolerance as there were no discrimination based on race,gender and ethnicity.

This college don't have hostel facility since most of us are staying in Delhi itself and ones coming from outside Delhi rent PGs in nearby areas.

They were instrumental in bringing the change in every student who got admitted they and provided insight about the college life.They also told how to prepare for life after college and corporate culture.

There are 2 minor exams before the semester exams which are held all over the university. The difference between 2 minor exams is 2 months and semester exams are held 1 month after 2nd minor.

Faculty members were either on contract basis or selected from UPSC.Most of them were selected from UPSC was a plus point of this college as they were more equipped with the knowledge and teaching experience.Some of the subjects were teachers were excelle
