A-Z Information about IIIT Vadodara(Gandhinagar campus)

I would rate the course curriculum higly comprehensive. It is well structured focusing on core cse concepts like data structures and algorithms, DBMS, OS, COA and networking which are essential for a strong foundation. It also include courses like AI ML which align with current industry trends. The curriculum doesnt have a area for improvement at all but the institute should provide study places like a well built library and hostels. the frequency and timing of exams should be more spreaded out instead of at the end of the session.

companies vist campus around the 3rd year of UG. Companies like adobe, oracle, microsoft etc visit and offer sde intern roles with and without stipend. Also, Students get oppurtunity to work under professors for research and can also opt for Teaching assistance under certain requirements as per the instructor.

The placements of the college can be considered good. from 5th semester , students can become eligible for campus placements. many prominient companies vist campus like adobe, amazon, microsoft,samsung, mathswork, oracle etc. Highest package offered in 2024 was 40LPA. Median -9LPA, Average-11.34LPA. students placed was at -86.64% which registered. i am planning to get a job.

The is a bad campus life . Only 2 events take place in the campus including technical and cultural. the library only exist for the sake of it. facilities and technological provisions are provided within the classrooms like air conditioning, smart screens etc. we dont have a sports ground also. there exist clubs but remain inactive throughout the year, only become active at the times of festivals

8 students share a 3bhk flat. meal quality is average . registration process is smooth and hassel-free tho students have to register every semester. students in 3rd and 4th year can rent a room outside the hostel premises.

I choose IIIT Vadodara over other colleges soley because for its great placement records and education. while the institute lacks providing basic facilities like infrastructure, clubs and sports requierments.

since it is a institute centered around information technology, the insititute offers two UG courses - IT AND CSE. and many specialization courses for PG as well in electronics department. faculty to student ratio is fair. students can freely approach the faculty and they are open to answer. the faculty that i like are- dr. swapnil lokhande, dr. bhupinder kumar, dr. KK jha. best faculties include mr ashish phophalia, dr. pratik shah. there are not many faculty that i dont like. the exams are fairly comptetive, they lie around medium difficulty. most of the students clear the exam. and majority of the courses follow relative marking scheme. the course currilum is relevant

Since there is no campus of our own, we rent a building from GEC,sector 28,kudasan, Gandhinagar. we have two hostels- one in Palaj, Ganadhinagar and one around Pramukh orbit mall. 1st and 2nd year students are meant to stay at palaj and other at orbit. There is no as such nightlife in palaj but in orbit, the nightlife and overall experience is good.
