Course Curriculum Overview
Best engineering college in Chhattisgarh. Good for placements. They need to work on smart classrooms. And teachers should not be changed continuously. Exam are good here as in one semester we have to give two exams
Internships Opportunities
As I'm now a first year student I don't know much about this but students start their intership in 3rd year. They work under different companies and get a good placement based on their work and activities during intership
Placement Experience
From 3rd year student become eligible for placements. Highest package is 65 lakh and average package is 18 lakh. 90% students get placed. Some students don't participate in placements because they plan to do masters or start-up. My plan after degree is to secure a good placement and do job.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is semester wise First semester fee is 71596 Second semester fee is 71112 Students get scholarship based on family income. SC ST students have to pay only 40% of total fees. Family with annual income less than 1 lakh have to pay less fees This make college affordable for all.
Campus Life
Overall experience in the college is good. Along with studies many activities are held, many fests are held that help us in enjoying the life at the fullest. Trips are also planned by the college which is the best.
Admission
Raipur is capital city of Chhattisgarh and it make the location and facilities of college very good. I applied colleges in banglore like MSVR but I choose NIT Raipur over them. For admission you have to clear JEE MAINS exam and for general category your percentile should be above 97. After JEE MAINS exam you have to participate in JOSSA council
Faculty
College has around 400-500 facilities. They have their PhD students they also help us teach us and many more. Dr Vijay Babu sir from humanities department teaches communication skill subject. He is very good with students and he is highly educated. In one semester we have 2 exams first mid semester and second end semester. Out of 115 in my batch 5 students got failed.
Night Life
College has one gym, two library, four canteen, central garden, volleyball court, basketball court, football ground, cricket ground, and many more... Hostels are available for both girls and boys. They can hangout till 9:30 pm. In college some hangout places are central garden, bihan canteen, vachan.
