Likes

Campus size is huge, you can easily hangout with your friends.
Second thing i like about dtu is the healthy competition, it provide you the environment with like minded people.
Third thing i like about dtu is sport facilities.

Dislikes

First thing i disliked about dtu is fees
Condition of boys hostel for the 1st year is not so good
Third thing i disliked about. Delhi technological University is nothing.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum so far is quite good. The curriculum is very good so far. I'm the first year student so can't say much about the remaining years. One good thing which is being made by dtu is they started teaching main subject in 2nd sem which is impressive as remaining colleges get them into play after 1st year which leads to boredom with in student community

Internships Opportunities

Sorry but I'm not aware about the jobs they provide internships but one thing I've heard from my seniors and also when researching about this college after jee is they come up with great internship opportunities.

Placement Experience

Yes, there are placements held in our college. There placement stats are so good even in the past few year after covid which are considered to be economically recessed years, which is mind blowing for me. The highest package for the last year was 1.8 cr.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the first year doing btech in dtu is 241000 which increases year after year. Yes, you can even apply for the scholarships, even dtu provide their own scholarship for the children from weak background.

Campus Life

Dtu is one among best when it comes to infrastructure. They are day by day improving on their campus in every possible ways. Sports complex is so good and huge, you can practice or play for fun with your friends any sports.

Admission

it is one of the prestigious universities in India. It is considered to be the best even than some nits. You can get admission in Delhi technological universities by having good percentile in joint entrance exam.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is quiet good, they're really approachable. Exams for one semester are conducted in two parts, mid semester exam and end semester exams. I can't say much about the grading system because a new grading system has been launched by dtu but it is very controversial right now.

Night Life

Yes, there is a gym provided by dtu for their students. Talking specifically about the area out side the campus, it is not so good honestly. There are alot of places within the campus where you can hangout.

Placement Experience:

The on campus placement are quite good here even for the code branch. The training and placement cells works really hard for students to land onto best ones. Also regular meets and sessions are taken for students of first second third year's to guide them further by the seniors to let them know about the upcoming events and hackathons so as they don't miss out on anything the seniors also guide the students about the essential skills they should learn and provide them roadmap for the same The highest package this year is quite good and the average package is also decent last year average for mechanical was 8-9LPA which is expected to increase this year for cse and circuital branches the avg package is around 25 LPA or even more

Placement Experience:

After the second semester onwards you can apply for internship and in the final u are eligible for placements ans PPOs. A lot of well repuated tier1 companies visited here for placements including Google Microsoft Amazon Dell and many more. The avg package is around 17LPA and the highest pacakage is 51 LPA while the highest overseas is around 1cr or so. 90-95% students would place in the on campus placements. Many students go fo for further studies too.

Good Decent College

Placement Experience:

Placement of our college are more than sufficient even in the recession times our student 60-80% got placed. Our college is renowned for their placements from past 10 years the placement trend has increasedly the quality students are coming to our college hands they are placed in very good companies also in very big becoming startups. The average package is 6 lpa and the highest package is 17 lpa in the ion group goes to 30 around students.

Good College

Placement Experience:

For placement 6th semester is the same there most of the Student start sitting in the placement. Companies that visited our campus are TCS Infosys Capgemini cognizant. This year the placement percentage was nearly 70-75%. This data was much higher earlier as due to recession placement has reduced. Birthday college time I am trying to pursue and take after my b.tech degree for getting the best employment.

Good Tier 2 College

Placement Experience:

Placement of this College is good for survival either you are placed or not placed you get to know about what industry demands it is Tier 2 college so Companies Reach but Most Recruiter are starting Up . Company that Comes regularly are Tcs Ion Zs Musigma Cognizant. Student get placed around 70%. Few Students Start there Startup also Go for Higher Studies.My plan Is to Get a placement and Then Further upskill my self with Mtech.

I secured 96 percentile in jee and I was getting quite decent NITs but lower branch here in DTU I have environmental engineering I was getting the same in nsut and mechanical in igtuw, the admission in DTU is done through jac councelling there are 5 online rounds and 2 physical rounds , internal upgradation of branches is also there. I choose DTU over other choices because of its brilliant faculty of environmental engineering and diverse amount of technology present to study environmental engineering and it's location being delhi is also a plus. I have mentioned this that since DTU was always my favourite I would have taken admissions in DTU even if it was not in Delhi. DTU USME is as good as it's engineering college.
