Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course subjects are well related to the core curriculum. Theory parts are really good and also the lab or experimental parts. With the availability of great experimental equipments it's really easy to understand.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships opportunities are provided by the college is good, but due to the personal or other reasons students prefer their own internship methods and this makes to feel that the availability of opportunities are not well used.

Placement Experience

4

Placement is good but it can be better. The eligibility is depends upon the requirement of company but most of the times it's only 60 percentage overall percent. All the esteemed companies related to all courses visits, for example Infosys, TCS, Amazon, congnisant etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

If we're joining for a management seat, then we need to pay 1 lakh, or we will get some concessions based on our CET ranking. They won't ask for any other fees, but you have to pay exam fees of about 1500 per semester.

Campus Life

4

The overall experience is good. Along with the well connected faculty, the environment makes you to feel good throughout the year. And also the hostel is really nearby for the distant students to stay there.

Admission

The first reason is it's really a only college nearby my location and also the name SDM says it's popularity among the regional people. It's well structured and we'll developed as compared to other colleges nearby.

Faculty

4

There is no doubt about the teaching faculty skills, they are well trained and experienced. They are really well supportive. There are 2 semester exams for every year for 4 years. The failing students number is equal to nill.

Night Life

4

For the students who stays in the college hostel, they have the freedom to be out of gate till night 8-9 pm. I think that for a student it's not bad at all because on the perspective of learning, we don't have to do extra works at night.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
