Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS being a professional course itself is for the people it prepares us as the doctors to help the poeple and cure their illness and help them physically as well as emotionally, what else could be the great course than this. This course challenges yourself so that you can calm yourself in difficult real life situations when treating patients when you have to spontaneously give the treatment which is also accurate regarding the situation of the patient, it challenges you the fullest as a person also. You are trained when to control your anxiety , panic and calm yourself, it teaches us time management, how to cover so much syllabus and use it for the betterment of people. The frequency of exams is also apt so that we can cover our syllabus timely without delaying. The curriculum is now also very clinical based so there's more understanding than rattafying facts . There's always interesting to study related to real life and this course is your best option if you want something better for others as well as yourselves.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is fixed for the govt. medical College as it is 36000 per year for the general and OBC category. As for the SC STs the fees is half 18000 rupees/year.Hostel fees is 4800/year for gen and OBC category and 2400 rupees per year for SC and ST

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good just like other colleges , as we are studying a professional course of MBBS so there's not much like clubs and everything in our college but annual fest of nucleus is organised which is great , there's separate sports and cultural events in it We play every sports - kabaddi , tug of war , football, khokho, athletic events , marathons are organised As for the cultural ,- dance competition ( solo , duet , group) , singing (solo , duet , group) , fashion show with different themes of each years students like tv shows , bollywood, halloween , indian cultures, faculty ramp walk, faculty dance , talk show with principal is also organised. There are also a lot of quiz competition conducted by different departments and our seniors has also gone upto nationals in it . There are unions in the campus of JRs, SRs. Facilities are just like other medical colleges which are newly developed.since it's of 2019 only so the buildings are in much better health than other old colleges and new hostels and buildings are also developing so it is widening A critical care unit is alsi developing. The library has alot of journals and books approx 3000 that can be issued by the students using their cards. The library has the capacity of 200 people There's is also canteen present in the campus.amd there's also tea stall where we all sit and releif our stress after classes. Overall it's great

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is government, so don't expect much . There's is 2 seater room till 3rd year . Room is provided with 2 beds, cupboards , tables and chairs , a fan and a balcony The mess is okay. Food is also fine to fulfill the stomach needs, every day meal is different and is made according to the menu. Breakfast is parathas , bread , omelette, uttapam Lunch is dal , rice , sabzi and roti (which is different according to the day) Dinner is dosa, chole bhature, fried rice , dal rice roti sabzi. Hostel is affordable as it is only 4800 per year Mess fees is 3500 per month for 3 times meal. Registration process is simple for hostel and is done during admission process only There's common washroom for each floor. Different year students are kept together at different floors The locality is not that great as it is located outside the city.so there's nothing around except khet, there are medical stores around and a general store , gym is opened nearby and a hotel for staying. There's no pg or room available nearby , you have to go tk badaun to stay if not staying in the hostel.

Admission

Honesty My dream college was AIIMS but due to lack of marks and elevation of ranks I got GMC badaun. But I don't regret taking this college as there are many pros 1) Hospital is attachment to the academics and is within the campus. 2) not have to travel much 3) near my home - it takes 3 hrs from my home to reach the college (trust me it's better to take college near your home) 4) connectivity to other cities for travelling, as college students we like to travel with our friends as this is the only time - nanital , mathura , Agra , vrindavan, Bareilly, Delhi has direct buses and trains from badaun. Admission process was through neet , you have to give neet UG and qualify in it and then counselling starts fill the form and select the college's you want based on the merit you will be granted the college of your choice and then come to the college to submit the documents and grant yourself a government medical seat which is definitely of a lot of pride. Eligibility - candidate must be above 16 years and 12th passed. Exam for the course - NEET UG Passing criteria - candidate must obtain the minimum of 150 marks for passing and as for mbbs atleast 630 for general category and 450 for SC , ST. Admission goes smoothly as there's instructions given during counselling and it's done online in the official website of NMC for all india and respective sites for each state . There's 15% all india quota and 85% state quota for counseling of seats.

Faculty

4

There's is enough faculty in each department, the ratio is 1:20 approx , 1 faculty for approx 20 students, The faculties are very supportive and highly educated they are masters in their field , done their mbbs and MD from prestigious colleges like KGMU , GSVM , LLRM , SNMC and many more , they have more than 20 years of teaching experience and teaches with a lot of dedication. Exams are conducted regularly there are octa when each unit is finished and 2 terminals exams every year then pre proff is conducted and then final exams called proff which is conducted by the affiliated university , the marking is done on the basis of quality of answers written , which should include a lot of diagrams , flowcharts and written point wise.

Night Life

3

There's not much of a night life in badaun. As for the girls the hostel in time is 9o' clock And boys being boys never follow the rules so they can go till late outside hostel . Gym is present nearby the college 100m from the campus gate, library is also present within campus, cafeteria small is present. There's is restaurant nearby where we hangout most of the times as for birthday celebration Mainly the cafes and restaurants are present in the city so you have to take auto and reach the city which is 30 mins from the college and there you can go to cafes and bakery and city mall for hangouts and outings or for chilling.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was in 2nd class then on report card I have to write which is your aim in future or what you want to become in future . Then there I I choose that I want to become a doctor and from then I I have dream that I become eligible doctor . Second doctor is very noble profession and it is my honour that I am serving the people and save the lives of the people . This profession teaches me a lot like how to cope with the situations and how to react very quickly in every situation . It help us to improve our skills and also our mental health and makes a strong mentally and emotionally .. I should suggest that there is a improvement in online lectures also provided for the MBBS course because there is little bit difficulty in the college to go there and study there because some scarcity of faculties in the college so qualitative education is not provided as it should be provided. The MBBS course offers four exams which are little bit hard to clear and there is little difficulty in clearing the exam. The timing of the exam is from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.. The terminal occurs at the gap of 3 months while the pre professional exam and the professional exam occur at the gap of 1 month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was my dream destination career wise to choose MBBS . MBBS connects you to life and death the two most important aspects of being a human on this planet . Having a power to cure someone and make people smile and live again with health is something else. As in our India the population to doctor ratio is very less hence it's important for the young generation to understand and evaluate the decision of serving the country this way. MBBS is dream for many but reality for very few students all over the country. But the people reaching here face toxic culture also , as prestigious it is as disturbing sometimes it becomes , people over here do not understand the mental health of others So this aspect should be taken in to care and medicos should be handled with care by the society, government and also the seniors . The exams are big rat race , but it's really satisfying as a reader as you get to study and read a lot about medicine . So choose MBBS but not toxicity make your mind that you ll make it beautiful for yourself and also for your batchmates and juniors as well .
