Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum was in accordance with the MCI. We had ample number of theiry as well as practical classes so as to get both theoretical and practical knowledge by seeing patients in wards. Ward posting were also mandatory since 2nd proff where we eere taught history taking and detailed examination of patients in various clinical department.

Internships Opportunities

4

365 days rotatory internship is mandatory for every MBBS graduate after final exams as per the rules. Internship is the period where we get maximum practical knowledge and hands on experience. The PG residents teach many procedures and how the emergency is handled. In each department there is posting for various number of days and every one has to attend . 12000/month was the stipend given

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it is a government college so the fees is very nominal i.e. 35000/yr including hostel fees. The fees is submitted once per uear. There is no scholarship given by university but students can avail the government scholarship. So in all doing mbbs was very affordable from here. One year mandatory internship is provided by the college with 12000/month stipend.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was good. There is an yearly fest named 'EXORDIUM'. Other than that there are various festivals which are celebrated in a very grand manner. Footballa and cricket tournaments are done every year. Various books and journals are available in the library on each subject you wish to study. The lecture theatres are well fitted with projector, computers, black board, white board, mic system, collar mic system

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facility is good. In the first year students are given double occupancy hostel room. The room is provided with an iron bed, mattress, wooden table, a chair, almirah, fan, light. There is shared washroom in each wing. Washing machine is also provided in each wing. Hostel is quite affordable. Mess food is not up to the mark. The menu is okay but taste and hygiene is lacking

Admission

The admission process is through NEET-UG examination. The then cut off of 2016 was 500/720. But now the cutoffs are increased. The exam is usually conducted in the month of may every year and after the declaration of result the student has to undergo the counseling procedure and opt for the college. College will be then allotted and then admission process start on the given date. Medical examination is mandatory for all students and after that joining is done.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio was well met. If one wants to clear their doubt and ask questions, students can easily go to respective departments and ask the residents or the professors. All the faculties were post graduate (MD/MS) in their respective departments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mbbs is very well reputed course. It makes you a well equipped indian medical graduate helping you aquire required medical skills to work in society as clinician. It really takes into account all the challeneges that one has to face in society as a clinician. The university exams are held on a yearly basis which include both theory and practical exams. The exams are good to pass if one studies daily. The syllabus is vast but with the help of seniors you can easily ace it.

Placement Experience:

During admission we sign an affidavit with UP government to work in rural area for 2 years or else give 10 lakh rupees. If selected for PG bond will continue after PG fir 5 years else 40 lakh fine. Since there is affidavit , UP government will itself provide job to us as MBBS doctors. Most of students appear for NEET PG exam and take admission in allotted college as junior resident. If one cannot clear NEET PG exam, they will either work in clinics and hospitals as MBBS doctors or they will join any college as demonstrators or Lecturers. The students who have completed internship of 1 year after 4.5 years course are eligible to take any job or practice in private. Salary of mbbs doctors in our country is 60-70 thousand monthly. Almost all students get placed in one or other place. I will get my MS and DM degree after mbbs and become a neurosurgeon.

MBBS comprises 4.5 years of academics and 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship. Starting from 1st year and 2nd year where you're taught preclinical subjects and in next 3rd and 4th-year clinical subjects. The student ratio is almost 60:40 (M: F). At the time we are sort of faculty but the existing faculty is highly competent and hard-working.The administration is trying hard to get complete this shortage of faculty

Remarks:

The College is okay, for the students who focus on studies. They can easily glide through the test without worrying about anything else. The only problem is the college being so far from the city with just a highway in front of it. The nearest town is Ghaziabad which is ½ hour away. Can be easily reached by tempo or bus which frequents the hospital.
